I have just sent my Gen 2 AirPods Pro back as the call quality I receive and people hear from me was not as good as with original air pod pros. Made me sound not so clear when driving. People were not clear to me listening whether with just 1 or both AirPods in. I’m looking to get the Bose quiet comfort 2’s now. Great videos btw

Thanks for doing this! I’ve been looking for a video like this. Can you also do a test when riding a bike? The wind noise reduction of the airpod pro sucks compared to my plantronics. I had to keep carrying my old headset to make calls.

Thanks for your comment. I will try to do a wind test tomorrow or the day after and upload it as a separate small video. Which Plantronics are you referring to? I've still been using my Plantronics Voyager 5200 quite a bit so far, especially when making calls in tough conditions. I will have to see if the AiPods Pro 2 or the Bose QC 2 maybe can "replace" them.

I haven't had a chance yet to do the test riding a bike but I did two generic "wind" tests. I also included some other earbuds and headsets for comparison. And of course the Plantronics 5200 for reference. Hope it helps. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/id2apNiem7GxdGQ.html

This is great. The m2 MacBook are you using the raw mic or an external mic? I’m surprised at how good it sounds. I’d love to see more products with this thorough mic test like the soundcore series.

Thnx. For the Into, Outro and me sitting in front of the cam, e.g. introducing the quiet environment, coffee shop environment etc., the MacBook Air M2 internal Mic (raw) had been used. During the unboxing 0:30-1:49 the Sony ECM-B1M had been used.

Because I heard it makes a very significant difference for the microphone sound quality, if you have active noise cancellation on or passive noise cancellation or transparency mode: which settings did you apply when you recorded these samples? - Thank you much!

both models has bad mic quality for a product from apple we expect a top notch mic but it's disappointing, even my cheaper jbl earbuds has better mic than both of these airpods.
