The charging cable looks as functional as the charging on the magic mouse. This toothbrush is looking like an upside down vanilla ice pop, focused on design my ass. OH wow, a waterproof toothbrush, how innovative. Imagine paying 70 dollars for a cheap reskinned electric toothbrush that looks mady goofy just because it comes in a fancy box. Apple is moving away from accommodating the visually impaired. If there is an action button, they need to ensure to have it built strongly in to the accessibly features. Many tech companies are not thinking of every kind of customer.

One thing apple needs to stop doing is giving consumers 60hz on their phones, nobody else does that and 60hz is laggy. All phones should be 120hz maybe 90hz for the cheaper phones but 90hz is pretty decent as well.

Going forward, the standard iPhone 16's should have a 90hz refresh rate and keep the iPhone SE's locked on 60hz. The "ProMotion" gimmick can stay on the Pro devices.

@@Abel-Harland I agree. On an iPhone, a 60hz will never lag, especially with the A16 Bionic chip. Although I have a 13 Pro Max, I can comfortably agree that 60hz on an iPhone is still smoother than 60hz or even 90hz on any other Android.

Just check the top 10 smarthone of the past 3 years.. there are only Apple nade 120Hz devices on the list, the 2-3 Android on the list is ALWAYS a 60Hz LCD cheap Android (basically the Gakaxy A12-A13-A14, end the even cheaper A03-A04 on that list..), so even Android users ignore the 120Hz.. (there are a few 120Hz model even on $150 range what the other Androids cost on the list... You should say something like this, when at least any Android reach the top 10 with 120Hz display... until that your idea just a false statement with zero knowledge..

I was just watching something else talking about how consumer behavior is changing and retailers are adjusting to fit; dollar stores going out of business; Target becoming partially a dollar store; Walmart aiming for higher income shoppers-all this due to consumer sentiment shifting to wherever the bargains are across all income ranges.

I think the best path forward may be to have a cheaper Apple vision version. When there is a cheaper version, there will be more usage. A larger market share will create an incentive to create apps specifically for the Apple vision series. Once there are sufficient apps, the main stream will jump both feet forward into the Apple vision ecosystem. After all, we all have iPhones already. Like the watch, at a certain adoption saturation point, synergies will push the right remainder of the (iPhone owning) market towards the product.

Mini iPad needs an upgrade and a lower price tag. Add cellular and it could be an interesting alternative for phone use, since portable & can fit into pockets & purses.

Been waiting patiently for Apple. Knew they'd decide to come around at some point. Every company looks like it's going down a rabbit hole of monopolization, but I think Apple's moving towards something better. Time will tell. I'll update this comment when the next iphone SE comes out.

To merge the 2 worst selling model into one is a bad idea, there is no way it can increase the sales. Any sales with just barely reach the 5% of their yearly sales is not worth thr effort, they should focus on the 95% instead of the 5%.

Honestly, I hope that they would cut down on the I watch ultras I am been saving up my money for a couple months for I watch ultra too. I do know that they will go on maybe on sale when they announce in September the new iPhones, I watches, etc. etc., but it would be nice to get a cheaper watch ultra

I'd like to see the SE4 retain the 4.7inch screen, removing the bezel. There are plenty of 6 inch plus phones out there but for those of us who want most of the `iPhone functionality in a smaller format, increasing the size of the SE removes that option. Not a great move in my opinion.

this is really about the market and maintaining their presence and dominance. Christmas shopping was the lowest 2023. Target is switching this year to becoming a bargain dollar store. Jobcuts are happening at an alarming rate. So this cheap phone in corporate sensibility makes sense. Nobody is buying things right now. Car sales are dropping people are in debt and rent is soaring, so hence a 99$ iPhone is a good way to hedge your bets. Fast food is losing money. Though maybe that's a good thing though. But hotels are lo9sng money because people aren't vacationing. nobody has the time or can afford to. So Apple is just adapting while they can.

As much as I would like an iPhone SE.. I just can't commit to an ecosystem that gets left behind in as little as 2 years. I'd rather have a device that can run all the apps I want for as long as I want to keep it, or until the hardware gives out. Oh, and bigger storage and user-friendly modding would be nice. At least the cameras, editing software, internet browser and digital assistant are superior on an iDevice.

I’m really concerned with the legal problems that Apple is having with the US government. What will happen with all the products? Licenses? And so on. Secondly, I’m extremely disappointed with the lack of interest to improve the iPad mini… thanks for sharing your thoughts…

Well they do need money due to these law suits and the Vision Pro… so any money for Apple is good money. And I wouldn’t even say, “budget friendly” because since the 12 pro max Apple haven’t put out a phone that’s “innovative” .. everything is the same except for MINOR tweaks

And that's why I've just bought a new 256 GB iphone 12 for a price lower than a SE 3. All the things they added in the last 3 years are just minor tweaks and it not worth spending 1200$ for those. They keep buzzing of what they do with their cameras, but a phone camera (the lenses) will never be as good as a dslr.

$100 for airpods is still steap. You can get Soundpeats Air4 for $50 and they are better than airpods, unless you have an apple device. This is that monopolizing tendency that they have showing its ugly face. See apple devices have two audio codecs SBC and AAC. SBC is required for things like car stereo so they have no choice, but it can still push more data than AAC. AAC is 320kbps and SBC can do 328kbps, now AAC is still better because it can compress higher quality streams and send them at a lower bitrate. But all codecs can do this besides SBC but AAC is the most aggressive with compression. Now the $50 Air4's use aptx and they have the whole spectrum from the new Lossless 1200kbps, HD, LL, Adaptive 576kbps, and regular aptx 384kbps. Samsung includes SBC 328kbps, AptX 384kbps, LDAC 990kbps, and Scalable 512kbps. Scalable is their proprietary codec, but they include Sony's LDAC and Qualcomm's AptX. Only brands like Sony, Asus, and Motorola do the better AptX codecs. But samsung still has double the codecs included 4 vs apples 2. Soundpeats also make the Air4 Lite with Sony's LDAC 990kbps and regular AptX and LDAC are included on all Android devices, apple should include them as well but guess what they don't and they got us in this wireless mess, and you thought cords are annoying.

I think apple needs to make there products upgradable if you could swap out the M1 to the M3 chip on say the iMac or the ram or the SSD The thing is medium to high end android phones have had oled and refresh rates for years The iPod lineup was a mass market product as you could run ITunes on windows Apple has lots of gimmicks under tim cook that haven't seen ubiquitous under there line As if Tim cook made 3d cameras on the vision pro on every device from the iPhone to the iMac to the iPad or oled screens It was a reason why the touchbar on the MacBook Pro died out as no developers wants to support a niche feature on one product It was also the reason why apple kept with there one iPhone size Where are the foldable iPhones , iMacs or macbooks from apple Apple has been so lacking in software this last decade as they have only had minor update to there os , with the change to apple silicon i thought we would get faceid with the macs , iPad and other lineup Why is there still bezels on the apple product line and notches There is a famous example of Steve Jobs putting a iPod nano in a fish tank to see if there was any more room to fit things Imagine if they bought somethings like eye tracking and hand gestures on the vision pro to the Mac lineup

They are starting to block those apps & everyone in china & other places use we-chat to buy stuff, pay bills & a lot of other things. god I hope this pushes through and stays cheap when imported abroad, I dropped my iPhone 11 and smashed the screen, and having it fixed would already be halfway be to a new iPhone altogether, got a fake screen put on and its been acting crazy with ghost touches ever since

I think iPhone SE OLED display is NOT really cool. Sucks honestly. I bought the SE3 last month due to all the leaks pointing to the PWM OLED display for its next gen. Wack
