Nah Bro, Procreate maxes out on number of layers with big canvases. I used it to do architectural drawings so the new chip would be amazing for layer count

@@mattisasleep1969, Procreate does it because they want the app as smooth as possible. But other apps have unlimited layers on the iPad. Except for Procreate or very specific video processing scenarios, new processing power will go to waste.

I’m totally gonna be a nerd here. It’s due to them moving the camera to landscape on the new models so they had to change the magnet configuration in the pencil to match the new iPads

Not gonna lie, as an artist I am definitely tempted to upgrade. Although my 2018 Ipad Pro and 2nd gen Apple Pencil are still really good, so I'll have to wait for more reviews to consider if it's really worth upgrading yet.

This many iterations in and they haven’t added the simplest feature of an ERASER? As a person with grip issues a squeeze feature is useless. And yes I’m not the person they’re designing for, but everyone can benefit from a NATURAL ERASER. The procreate add is also hilarious given that Procreate is also missing some of the most simple features (an actual selection too that works well, a way to select all layers with one touch, etc)

BRО, I don’t even understand how someone can seriously think that they will procreate an excellent cool application for drawing, yes, it supports the tilt of the stylus, but who uses it, it’s literally paint from Windows but there are more pixels and there are layers I speak like the person who draws there because I feel sorry for my almost 10 bucks, despite the fact that they gave me this program (by the way, I gave Minecraft as a gift in return, which was a better purchase)

@@Dvzvenp well I do use procreate and it has its pluses over my usual program. The base pencil brushes are incredible. The base animation assist is also a lot better than say, Photoshop or Clip Studio for basic animation (and it compresses GIFs much better than both). But obviously these are very niche examples. My point is that I don’t think Procreate is a bad program, just like I don’t think the new pen is bad. I just think they’re missing the point when doing all this for “innovation” when core features are still nowhere to be seen.

@@Jamesonfp S Pen always had a gyro in it. The angle changes by tilting the S Pen Idk since when its had the feature but I've been using it since 2018

Its about the feeling you get. Pressing a button is different than squeezing a pencil and getting some motion response. It only has to do with the feeling you get out of it.
