I had a chat when I was doing my demo at my local Apple Store with one of the employees. She said that she didn't really "get" or understand Vision Pro. But earlier that morning she had a lady come in, she was in her 70's. She said that her husband had just passed away and that she had lots of videos on her iPhone. They specially loaded her AppleID onto one of the Vision Pros and played back the videos. She was in tears. It was right in that moment where the employee clicked and knew that this was huge. Because just like Jon said, it's rare when a piece of technology can have that emotional affect on you. I just wanted to share that story.

Duuuuuuuudes! This was longer than The Godfather! By a lot! It was worth it. OMG. I don’t have $4K but I so want one. The movie you guys need to share is 2001: A Space Odyssey. The Monolith is The iPhone. This was epic and I got through it all. I did have to take a couple of breaks but I came back and unpaused. 4 freakin’ hours! This was an experience not a podcast. The potential for the AR models is INSANE! Just imagine a future where 3-6 years down the line we don’t even need phones or watches in the physical form! Just like how the iPod was replaced by an APP on the iPhone; the idea that we could see virtual iPhones, Apple Watches, iPads and MacBooks through the eyes of the Vision Pro is absolutely CRAZY!!

Sam’s persona looks goofy as hell, it’s hilarious, but Jon looks pretty much like Jon in real life. Sam’s reactions to everything had me cracking up so hard I had no idea what you guys were even talking about, but his raw excited and shocked reactions like he was high AF about the watch are more than enough to make me want one!! Absolutely insane job on this. I’m on a road trip and have been listening to just audio, besides stopping to check video a couple times, and yall have absolutely sold me on this. The way to describe everything is so vivid and relatable, and yall tone is definitely so chill vs normal podcasts. Like I feel like I’m I’m the same room as yall just hanging out. Like this is seriously such a top tier episode and the only video that does this product justice. This seriously is the next chapter of tech and our interaction with the world and I have a lot of confidence in apple to take it on responsibly and carefully. Almost cried when Jon explained showing your brother the video functions and Sam his college memories. I definitely am gonna start taking panos of places I am to remember them in 5 years

Imagine when you can lock an app to a place in a room and it stays, even when you leave and reboot the device, etc.. even when you run the app again, it still has a version of it locked to a place. Go in office, bam whole setup, go home to living room, it’s tv on wall and notes in kitchen, etc etc.. Having them persist outside of “app sessions” , even when they unload out of memory and apps sleep, they still stay at same place in space

Gosh Jon. Hearing you talk about the experience you did for your brother in spacial video. My sister died of cancer 7 years ago, I was 16 at the time. I have a video of her that I will go back to and watch because of the memory. But if I could’ve had SPACIAL VIDEO of that one video I have, the THOUGHT of being able to experience that alone is enough to make me emotional. I truly believe this feature can be so special for so many people. Similar to how you talked about personal voice when that released.

The panos are REALLY compelling. They "feel" real, like you are back where you where when you took them. Like flat photos feel disconnected from reality, like they never look/feel like what it was like at the time, but having the image wrap around you, maintains the perspective you had when you took the shot, like it reproduces the actual scene in the way we always wished photos would. It makes me wish I had taken WAY more of these over the years.

Wow guys! WTF what an episode! I watched it in three chunks, and each time i was more stoked than the last to keep going. Good on you guys publishing that whole journey, lots of insight into the whole road map. Been thinking of it all a lot since having a Apple Watch and the Airpod Pro 2's spatial-audio and really imagining ways a AR reality would interact with all their devices to create a whole world. Wait until there's neat AR components when you look at your watch like floating sphere's or 3D widgets or whatever, even more ecosystem tie-together. Exciting. Watch the whole episode folks! Ok this is really convincing,I mean watching you half way I kind of forgot you were at home in the environments-And then realised you were actually at home just before,-That environment looks so good,I seriously can’t imagine how that looks in real life on the headset! This definitely feels like a moment!! Even I was shocked when you increased that iPhone size-Wow!

I have been trying to ingest AVP content and after the first wave of reviews there was a real drop off. I was rewatching the emergency pod post my own demo rather than the rest out there. Happy this finally came out, you guys killed it.
