optimizing pricing might help businesses to eek out that last $$, but on the flip side, variable pricing models is a nightmare when it comes to managing customer relationships and renewals in enterprise business. not to speak of the incremental work and complexity in analyzing data or the fun you will have with explaining stuff to auditors and investors. wonder how will these complexities be addressed?

This. I’m very curious how they can do variable pricing model like this. Sounds like a complete nightmare that can get out of hand fast.

Uber and Lyft employ it. I believe it can only be used where these is no sense of how much the service is worth

Great videos as usual, and really cool music, but if you are open to user experience input, the music over both of you talking is very distracting. Making it hard to connect to the speaker's content. Your videos are very helpful, and I just wanted to return the favor.. I can't tell you more about the why's if you are interested.

The application of this for in-grocery, walmart store pricing is gobsmacking. Add a smartphone and app, retroactive discounting for loyalty programs, and it's mind-boggling.

It’s a fantastic use case for ai. I wonder, does the model work in areas other than revenue? When it comes to supply costs for example I’d have thought that lengthy long term agreements would prevent this tech from working. Maybe it doesn’t need to work anywhere other than with revenue

4:10 Gary Tan has identified the fundamental innovation of AI. AI Technology companies like CodeWarden, which focus on AI for code, address resource constraints that all silicon valley companies face. People can only do so much and AI is the next evolution of the hammer or wheel for mankind.

Dynamic pricing on a per customer basis sounds great for businesses, airlines already do this but can definitely be made better. But as a consumer I would hate this.

Future is indeed bright for software; and yet there is no shark tank for start ups. Perhaps you could do a video where you give feedback live feedback on functional demo of working software and prevent founders from serious mistakes when searching for a business model. The y combinator application process seems opaque and not feedback oriented

The big money is not with AI help, but how to scrutinize the AI results. You can already see it with GPT3 services to check for AI plagiarism in school papers.
