I met their guitarist Ken in person! And he made Carolus Rex for sabaton! he wrote it and made it, Ken is their old songwriter! And this band is srsly one of my favorites! One song you have to check out is The Rising, Lindas voice is so perfect! I really love it! I'm glad you react to this! perfect! :)

Nice to see this reaction video! :) Already liking the sound of Follow the Cipher too for a few weeks now and I already pre-ordered their album! If I was to suggest the next song of theirs to react to, I'd say "Valkyria" would be the way to go. :)

Her voice is definitely weaker on this song which is strange considering how powerful her vocals are on the other two songs they released. It's the main thing that put them on my radar was her insane vocal capabilities.

Their video for "Valkyria" bowled me over. I would do that one next! Thanks for doing this one. I watch these videos to see your reactions to music I already love, but sometimes you end up introducing me to music I haven't heard, and this is one of those times. Definitely picking this album up when it drops in May!

Two years ago, April 18th 2016, to be exact, Aleah Starbridge, lost the battle with cancer. The band Hallatar uses her lyrics and poems in their songs, but she also had her own band with her husband, Juha Raivio, who plays the guitar in Hallatar and Swallow the Sun. The band that they had is called Trees of Eternity, and I hope that you'd react to the song "Broken Mirror" one day. It's beautiful, haunting, heavy, and it breaks your heart. The world needs to know about Aleah, and that would also be a good way to get people to fight cancer, maybe even get someone to donate for cancer patients or something. That would be all. Cheers, love you guys! Keep up the good work!

yea they should react to that band but not that song, it doesn't have the folky vibe of their other songs and their choruses are usually very melodic while this one is heavier and unlike their other stuff. (or maybe I'm biased, prophecy is my least favorite track from them) I think they'd enjoy songs like "Freya" and "defenders of valhalla", they're more in the style they enjoy

I'd never heard of this band, but they did great here! Thanks for reacting, I'll have to check them out. :) You haven't reacted to Tarot yet, have you? Marco from Nightwish is the frontman. They've done plenty of great songs, but I'll recommend "Tides" since I really love that one. There's a good live video here on YT from their Undead Indeed tour. Maybe consider it! :)

Worse than the originial, in my opinion. Me, personally, haven't found a singer with the same 'power' of Joakims voice. It's almost as if it represents the Swedish empire, in a way. Brutal, heavy and rough. I'm in no shape or form saying that the womans vocals are bad, because they aren't. But since i have a personal bias towards the Empire, i do think Joakims voice fits better.

EXCELLENT cover. My god. I was a bit skeptical coming into it because I didn't think the power would be there, but she (and the band as a whole) did incredible. Definitely made a fan out of me. And the obligatory recommendation.. Grave Digger - Twilight of the Gods.

you guys should react to some harakiri for the sky - Funeral dreams. It's black metal, but it's not regular black. It's deppressive suicidal black metal. And I think you guys might actually like it. It's fun to explore new genres :)

I think this cover is better than the English version by Sabaton, she puts more emotion and power in the lyrics. The Swedish version and this cover is on the same level.

While I really love this cover, I just think that Joakim's vocals really sell the military aesthetic of the song better. Otherwise, the keyboards, guitar tone, mixing, and drums are on par with the original.
