I am going to get into the habit of putting a roundup of birds (and other animals) I have filmed every month. I collect lots of great footage that I might not use in other projects, so instead of it going to waste, I will do this. I have decided to list the birds here rather than ruin the footage putting the species on screen.

I would really like to know about how you focus in these clips. Are you manual or are these clips using the bird eye autofocus. Great that you shared all your clips this way.

Yep eye tracking on most, but a couple, like the whitethroat inside the tree, I had to go manual.

@@stormcabbirds Great, thanks for that, looking at your results it seems the r7 is a lot better than its made out to be on many youtube videos.

@@philipgowdy a local photographer is using one while his £5k camera was being repaired. Was moaning about the R7. I asked what his other camera cost. When he said £5k, I said “well what do you expect from a camera 1/5th the price. Most photographers doing reviews on KZfaq, usually have access to the most expensive equipment, so of course they will moan about the R7. If you can’t take good photos with the R7, then you’re simply not a good photographer.
