Again, thank you James for what you’re doing -can’t say enough how grateful the residents are of you and the 33/40 weather team are doing to help keep them safe and GOD BLESS YOU!!! Can’t say how appreciative the residents are-you’re the best. What makes these tornadoes more dangerous is that it’s so dark and are likely rain wrapped . God Bless you !!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

I remember the tornado in Blount County very well. Hit us on Pine Mountain right as the warning came through. We had some damage, but fortunately didn’t lose our home. A neighbor’s lake house was picked up and put in his pond.

I still clearly remember that night. We had just came out of the shelter and were about to go back in the house and my grandma and I just had this bad feeling for some reason. We stood there trying to figure out why we had this bad feeling and about that time we went under the tornado warning for the second time and we stood there trying to figure out if it was actually near us and a literal second later lightning struck and we could see the tornado on the back side of their property. It was right there. It barely missed their house

The widely-known Tuscaloosa tornado occurred 3 years and 1 day earlier. (April 27th, 2011) so this was a different outbreak
