Thank you for this video! I had 4 shells that leaked gas, and now 3 is working thanks to you! I think i am gonna get some o-rings now!

It is a same o ring as APS Amp50 shell ejecting Sniper rifle?

hey Mak! Thank you for video! it really helps. My cam870 has a problem. i only have like 15 shells. among them, 5 of them has problem. when it is charged and inserted to the gun, (mine is shortty version so i can load 5 shells) and whenever i reload the problem occurs. when i reload 1st shell to the chamber, all rest 4 shells leaks instatntly. when i pull the slide back to load shell all rest of shells inside magazine(should i call it magazine? or tube) leaks at the same time.do you have any idea what the problem is? thank you in advance

+HS Kim no idea what happen but that is definitely no good. Contact APS for direct help is better!

I'm going to fix my shell tonight but i only have gun oil lubricant and not gun grease could i use the oil instead or will that not work well with the o rings? There is also a trick i learnt that you can use on o rings of any kind. You heat up a cup of water dip the o ring in the water for a few seconds then cool it off in cold water. I did it on my xbox 360 o ring once and it works great,not sure if it will work well with airsoft but it doesn't hert to try.I was told the hot water heats the rubber and seals the cracks then the cold water hardens it a bit, something in the lines of that. It was a tip i heard a long,long time ago.

depends what gun oil, silicone oil is okay, pellgunoil is okay, and for oring, heating it up with an open flame is better, just put the oring on a tweezer and heat it a few seconds by waving a lighter below it and it will expand already, but the water trick also work, depends what you prefer to use. I like the fire trick more because it's fast and easy.

72 shells!! wow! Do you run your maintenance on new shells or wait till they have problems? I had 3 of 5 LM4 mags leak out of the box so I lubed them up to function fine. Are you sponsored or have a huge budget for shells?

Aaron Robbins I have no sponsor man, just pure purchase! LOL! You don't need to do anything to the new shells, just use until they have problems then you can open them up. If you use HPA like I do now, then you don't need to worry as much because HPA seal in the shell better than Co2 too, less leaks!

MakHobby Been watching and reading your stuff all morning, You are extreme bro! I see by your other reviews that you go all in when you set up a platform. I haven't gotten my gun yet so I have been obsessing over what else to get. I do plan on running mine, mid length SF version in CQB kill house and will get many shells. On shells that don't leak, how long do they hold there charge? I imagine that I will try and load a bunch the night before and run the next day, would they last a week? I was also thinking about a larger tank so I can save my 12g bottles for thunder Bs. Why would HPA leak less than CO2? Thanks!
