Aquaman found the Trident of Atlan. He comes back to stop Atlantis war.
In 1985 Maine, lighthouse keeper Thomas Curry rescues Atlanna, the queen of the underwater nation of Atlantis, during a storm. They eventually fall in love and have a son named Arthur, who is born with the power to communicate with marine lifeforms. Atlanna is forced to abandon her family and return to Atlantis, entrusting to her advisor, Nuidis Vulko, with the mission of training Arthur. Under Vulko's guidance, Arthur becomes a skilled warrior but rejects Atlantis upon learning that Atlanna was executed for having a half-breed son.

Indeed. I love the way James Wan said that he made the movie to perfectly fit the Snyder Cut and the Snyder Cut pretty much sidelined all of it. A British Accent Mira (even though she was American accented in Aquaman), the dolphin noises (even though they could just talk normally.), the inconsistencies of the bubbles to have a chat (only royal blood could do it.) and those low level soldiers that Stepenwolf captures who don't even wear the equipment needed for them to survive on the surface. While Joss actually made changes in his version of Justice League to fit in better with Aquaman.
