yasss Aquamarine! Filmed in Australia so many Aussies in this. Please do the movie RV! Stars Robin Williams, JoJo & Josh Hutcherson! Btw don't listen to JoJos OG albums listen to her 2018 re-recordings bc her old label SUCKS & do not deserve any $(the label owner is Aaliyah's uncle & isn't even letting Aaliyah's family/estate get her $ now) The reason JoJo started doing more films was so she could get $ as her label wasn't letting her sing and bring out music. They said she couldn't bring out music for many years so she took them to court & after a decade was able to finally release an album. She's been killing it her music is amazing & vocals are like fine wine getting better with age.

I watched this for my birthday back when it came out and it was one of my favorite movies. Aquamarine is my birthstone so I felt like I had a special connection to it. I tried watching it again a few years ago and could not finish it. I thought it was just too cheesy. BUT I tried rewatching it recently and I love it again. I'm 27 now and although it is definitely geared towards younger audiences, it's a fun, lighthearted movie to watch. I really enjoyed it.

Aquamarine didn't invent mermaids granting wishes if I am remembering correctly I swear I saw a movie once where a young boy? helped a mermaid and she granted him a wish... but also it is part of some cultural beliefs I looked it up and in Trinidad and Tobago, mermaids are said to grant wishes and bestow wealth on those who are lucky enough to see one!
