Buying Oscars that too for an Indian film is not an easy task, for that the nominees have to spend a bomb that too in INR it costs them their fortune. First we should know how much a million dollar equals in Indian rupees (nearly 8 CR), the makers have to spend 100s of such millions to lobby the jury members. Even 100 million USD (Nearly 800 Cr) makes it double the budget of the movie😂 from where the makers got that money? Did rajamouli(who hardly makes 50-60 cr for a film) spent from his own pocket? Funniest thing is people think that Oscars can be bought with 10 or 20 Crs of Indian currency but they are forgetting the fact that jury members have to be paid in dollars which is way larger in value than INR. Can't we celebrate the success of our Indian film maker who made the existence of Indian film felt in Oscars. I bet many of the people who are complaining don't even watch a complete performance based Oscar movies like hurt locker, the father, two popes, some of the Irani films directed by azgar farhadi etc., All these people need an issue to showcase their social media commenting skills nothing else.
