Guru, VTV, Rockstar, Slumdog Millionaire, Jodha Akbar, Delhi 6, Raavanan, Kadal, Maryan, Ranjhana, Highway, OK kanmani All of these happened after 2006. Oscars, Golden Globe, 20+ Film fare awards including background scores etc. For past some years things weren't good or we as an audience failed understanding his music.

The 90s songs are almost 30 years old. Now people understand it much easier. He's not making it easy for anybody to understand the songs. If you listen more, you'll like it more. Ther thiruvizha is a perfect example. I didn't like the song when I listened for the first time. I have tried to listen it like a 100 times and made a sense of the melody and pattern of the song. But now, I can sing along with the song and it's one of my favorites.

90 களில், 2000 களில் ரஹ்மான் சார் தந்த பாடல்கள் இதயத்தை தொட்டது போல இப்போதைய ரஹ்மான் சாரின் பாடல்கள் இதயம் வரை சென்றடையவில்லை காதுகளை மட்டும் தொட்டு விட்டுச் சென்று விடுகின்றது. MSV, இசைஞானி, இசைப்புயல் இவர்கள் மூவரும் தமிழ் திரையிசை உலகில் ஏற்படுத்திய மாற்றங்கள் அவர்களுடன் மட்டும்தான் இருக்கின்றது. அந்த பாதையில்தான் இன்றைய அனிருத் வரை சென்றுக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றார்கள்.
