Welcome to the Infernal Citadel! This is the newest dungeon in Neverwinter with the release of Mod 18. This Video will show you the basic Boss mechanics so you can prepare yourself and your party for what your up against.

First Boss -> 0:40 Second Boss -> 2:13 Final Boss -> 4:48

I would recommend getting the 1st and the 2nd boss to corners and fight them there. If the 1st boss is in the middle the spores will swarm the area with poison too fast and dps will have problems. The second boss should also start with the corners and rotate around the area, it's easier for dps to keep up because they can always hide behind the pillar or rotate around it, plus you will always be together on the phase when the imps appear. Other than that I like this dungeon, finally we have something that makes tanks important, tbh in other content (other than Tomm) tanks where unnecessary and everything can be completed with 4 dps and a healer.

Yup, the introducing of unavoidable damage has greatly increased the need for a tank to absorb those big hits. Definitely a nice change, making my beefy ass tank useful outside of just ToMM, hopefully the new trial in mod 19 will be just as much of a challenge.

@@Aragon- Yes. I know most people don't like the dungeon and I admit the rewards are "meh" for how difficult the dungeon really is. But as I said, at least it gives the tank a role outside tomm. I'm looking forward to seeing your build if you are going to do any on mod 18. I think that cryptic finally gave us tanks some decent items because I wasn't happy with anything previously available, tbh the gear was mostly for dps

Ah, you want to see a mod18 build, well i'm currently working on getting the lionguard set, The chest piece in particular (4 weeks to get). So I should have a mod 18 paladin Tank build for IC out next week with all the gear I like to run it with.

thnx for these vids man. I did Ic first boss yesterday for practice and this helped out a lot. Need a bit more hp for second and final boss do. But now at least i already have an idea what to expect as a tank. thnx again man

Hi bro very thankful for all ur videos , I’m on ps4 and mod 18 is coming I was inspiré by ur pala tankHdps and I want to know if the build is still good in mod 18 or it need some change and what they are , thanks u !

Hi, gland you like my vids :). There are a few things I changed with my paladin dps build. I switched to the Spiked Defenders Vambraces, new arms slot gear. I switched to the lionguard Helmet, and the Lionguard boots. I also changed to the Demonlord set for both aoe and single target. Other than that I switched to dominance and brutality insignias for more power and switched some companion gear around, to cap my stats. However it is not a build I would run for the new dungeon, you will die very quickly.

Aragon - Neverwinter ok thank you very much so as new player I should just run lvl 80 do Campagnes , build like a real tank and after this farm for my dps build ?

hillel nakache, as a new Player you should work on your tanking or healing build. For tanking, build up your Hp and stats, 600k hp with 68k armor pen, defense, critical strike, 78k critical avoidance, 68k accuracy and deflect, with 100k power. For Healing, +40% or more outgoing healing with 120k power or more is decent. A paladin dps build should be the last thing to work on, work on building up a tanking or healing build, so you can do endgame content.

hillel nakache, yup I do play pvp a fair amount, still working on perfecting my builds for pvp tho, so will be a few weeks before I could make a build video on it. Atm I am working on a video which explains your characters stats and why you need them.

lol ;p It is the "Brassplated Round Shield", should be on the auction house. You can also craft it in the workshop. Another cool looking round shield is the "Hardsteel Round Shield"

Just ran this for the first time on my pally, 760k hit points. Wiped only one time on the second boss but we couldn't get past the third with my hp so low. Could use more stamina too. I only have 39 boons so I think I did pretty well considering but I thought overall it was a fun dungeon because I was able to really be useful and dps actually had to wait on me.

The Elven Battle Enchant is very helpful on the last boss, so you can break free of the stun effect earlier.

This is impossible. The wasp boss keeps spawning tons and tons of smaller enemies around him now and was absolutely impossible to kill. Did somebody do something wrong?

You must have encountered a bug with the devils. If you don't kill the imp spawning devils before the cutscene, where the demons betray you, they can be there for the wasp boss. Best is to restart.

I always am 1 or 2 mods behind....just not willing to invest the coins needed to keep up with the mods...eventually i get gear strong enough to do the end game dungeons of the previous mods!

Yeah, it can take a while to catch up. But as long as your having fun, it doesn't matter much.

It is generally abbreviated to "IC" or "tIC".

you should be fine with around 700k to 800k, make sure you got a good healer to back you up.

You can get them from events, also from crafting. You should be able to find some swords on the auction house.

You just need to block it with everything you got.

When he jumps up to toss spines you can step forward into his shadow and take no damage.

I had 900k hit points going in there. use that shield, it is your best ally. almost all my mount bonuses are heals or shields. WickiD

hi m8. i am trying IC with my tank but i have som problems holding aggro after he slams me in the ground. Is there a special way?

Make sure you have your daily, Divine judgement, and hit him as soon as you get combat advantage. Then just keep spamming smite and use vow of enmity when it's off cool-down. I would use binding oath as my 3rd encounter. Also make sure to use oath strike as your main at-will

Smite with the Divine Challenger class feature is the best for threat.

Really hate this dungeon. IT has no fun mechanics in it it is just a drag. They did not even add good rewards Thank you for the video though EDIT i have won it numerous times just hate it

Per Character. The Lionguard gear is also Character Bound, on pickup.

Dam, I assume your tanking, perhaps you don't have enough hp, I run around with just over 900k but 800k should be fine too. Also try and have those defensive stats capped, 85k defense and deflect with 100k crit avoidance for paladins and 90k for fighters and barbarians.
