Arc'teryx Cerium Hoody within bigger name, better trim cut ,. and more focus on mid-layer function only , Pata down jacket made for more function&practical , never go wrong for either of

Just received the new patagonia sweater and the fit is way bigger than my other 2 pre-2020 sweaters. Having to return and try a medium. Loose cuffs may ne a dealbreaker though.184cm 91kg athletic build. Surely thats a large still? The sizing seems way off as I'm large in everything normaly including my 2020 cerium lt,unless Arc’teryx are doing the same these days?

Are you sure you linked to the right Patagonia jacket? Backcountry's specs don't match what you said in the video: Pockets [external] 2 zippered handwarmer, [internal] 1 zippered chest (packable, carabiner clip-in loop) Claimed Weight 15.1oz It doesn't mention the other internal pockets and the weight is slightly higher. Not a big enough weight discrepancy to matter, but it just made me wonder if it's a newer or older version of the jacket or something.

It should be the same, but i added another link for rei that is right. for some reason they dont list it on the backcountry site for drop pockets, but it for sure has them. Also the weight is what i measured on a small and it what Patagonia list too, so maybe backcountry did it on a larger jacket

Any issues with down migration in the antecubital area. I’ve heard others mention this about the Cerium over time. Other jackets like the NovaPro and Cotopaxi Fuego address this issue with baffles stitched to prevent migration. So weird a company like Arcteryx or Patagonia haven’t addressed this on such high volume sellers. I want to buy a Cerium but at $400 that’s a huge let down and no dump pockets either. Seems they’re selling the name more than anything.

I havent had any issues with down migration, seems the baffles are keeping it well put for now, but ill update if i do find that. Yes with the cerium you are for sure paying for that name and logo.

I've had this issue on my Cerium LT where the down all goes to the underside of the forearm. It's a real blight on an otherwise excellent jacket. It's still pretty lofty and warm after 4 years though and has held up really well.

@@danmoody2763 Thank you for your comment. Most people in reviews don’t use it enough to make this observation, they use it for an hour, make a video and return it or don’t wear it over time to see this affect but it definitely is happening for regular users and no reviewer mentions it.

@@j.taveras8447 Yes I agree, I've actually just ordered the Rab electron Pro to counteract the down movement and I know @BackcountryRenegade is a fan of this jacket.
