Buying this countercade is so hard, shipping costs to Europe are insanely high, and Europe has nothing in stock u_u , but I'll find a way out ^^, good to see your review again :)

I recently bought the Galaga, ms pac man and Pac-Man for $80 each at QVC. They are definitely a conversation starter when people visit. I love them!

If I was to get a big cabinet to play games on...which one would u suggest. Id like something that is like the 80s where I can stand and play 2 people and also allows you to install whatever games you want...even stuff like nintendo or genesis....basically roms. Or does that even exist?

Great video. Is there any way to open the EJB menus? Also can you unlock the extra characters in UKM3? It seems as if one commenter here said you can unlock the extra characters. Anyone have that code? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Will the control deck from the new device fit the old device? That will solve the USB and light up marquee concern.

Not really. The two player side panels are cut down to accommodate the control panel pan.

I've got the counter cade two player. And even getting into the e j b menu. Of m k 1,2,3 or ultimate 3 It does not allow you to change the difficulty internally. And the external menu does not do shit. I was able to adjust the volume on everything except the original mk. Please help

I own the 2 player version, and for some reason beyond words I want the 1 player version as well. But, I'd like to know, in the other version of countercade, you had to use both controllers in UMK3 to get Masked Sub Zero, Ermac, and Mileena. Are they teased in this version? They there from the get go? (Like the old consoles) Not there? Or is there another way with 1 controller (Much like the DS game's solution). I also own the 2 Player NBA JAM and the TMNT games and they tweaked the ROMs- so you wouldn't get a non existent "Insert Coin" or "Press Start" for would've been players 3 and 4

Went out and bought it, the hidden guys do show up just fine. You just only gotta type half the code, and they save with the scores. I enjoy this unit quite a lot

Can you get to the EJB menus or any of the secret menus on this one player unit? How did you enter the codes for secret characters for UMK3? I have one coming tomorrow and I would love to know!! Any help would me greatly appreciated. Thanking you in advance for your time.

@@joshcowan5345 Wow. I haven't tried the EJB menus, but right as you are getting a game over, type in the P1 part of the Kombat Kode you want or need. If you want the characters to save, it will do so automatically. But if you want it to reset, the Reset High Scores function will help you on that if you go to the options on the game menu. I understand this is a unique unit. There is so much with it I would like to know about it, and maybe which Kodes that exist can be documented in one way or another.

@@bolivwx thank you so much for your reply! I got it yesterday and I did try the Kombat kodes after you die. And yes as you said all you need is to enter the player 1 part of the code. I do wish there was a way to enter the EJB menus. I bet there is someone just needs to figure it out. If I come across anything I will for sure let you know! Thank you again for your response. I believe you would just google a KZfaq subscribe transparent png and layer it over your video during the editing process.

Don't make sense not making it 2 player option so another counter cade to be purchased. I would've thought arcade1up like making money but apparently not?😆

I have the 2 player version (the only one that existed at that point), and i hate the look. Feel like it was a rip off. For such a high price it should have had a screen and panels big enough to fit the 2 player control deck. Anyways i wonder if either Arcade 1up or other 3 party companies sell this new single player control deck so the og 2 player cabinets can be modded.

That plastic tray on the two player version makes it tough to swap out the control panels. I plan on making a new panel that’s the same size but places the controls in the center.

Ugh that plastic on the screen is my least favorite part about building those cabinets! I take out every screw on the screen to make sure I get it all haha.

Really dig the form factor here, but the lack of a lit marquee is really bogus. Because of that it shouldn’t be more than $100. And yes I’m saying that knowing that the Collectorcade is $100. Well that piece of junk doesn’t even have arcade ports or a decent screen so it’s irrelevant imo.

For people who don’t want a full size cabinet, to maybe sit on their desk to play occasionally. A functional decorative piece. They’d be more successful if they actually put these in stores more widely for impulse buyers, as a full size cab turn people off.

A smaller form factor for people with not a lot of room. But I guess with this one player Mortal Kombat one, you can only fight the computer. Does the two player MK countercade have a lit marquee? The two player also has regular MK3. And I only saw the one player MKII on Amazon for $199. There is also a 3/4 deluxe MKII coming out this year and it has no riser. But I have two X-Arcade sticks, one with trackball, and MKII and MK3 on Midway Treasures for PS2, and MK1 bonus disc that came with MK Deception. I just need a stand to put in front of my clothes dresser where my main TV is on. It's a small-medium flat panel TV. I have a few 1ups as well. We just bricked our Simpsons again my messing with the android and it got full with too many roms and emulators. Now a black screen comes up with some words and we can't select factory select. I just bought a Simpsons pcb on ebay and I'm going to replace it again. It cost me $135 to get my Simpsons game back. Now I have to wait for it in the mail and unscrew the old one and hook up the new one. About the PS2, there are more Midway/Williams/Atari games on the Treasures CD's than there are on the Midway Legacy cabs. Like NARC, Pit Fighter, Smash TV, Total Carnage, etc. And they are the arcade versions. I have an adapter with the X-Arcade joystick to hook it up to the PS2. And I have Capcom collections CD with Super Turbo, and Alpha 1 and 2. I just got a cheap big blue though. It has Super Turbo and it has the Winners Don't Use Drugs and Q sound Virtual Audio screens. So does the PS2 version.

The lack of USB for a controller and headphone jack is unacceptable and would be baffling if it wasn't intentional. These companies release deliberately skimped products with the "improved" version already designed to drop in the future. It's cynical

That's a crappycade. This review is so bias. If they added a lit marquee, more games, and the ability to connect 2 of them side by side for 2 players, maybe it would be cool

Mortal kombat being a single player with a single speaker mono sound only is trash sorry🚮 This is only my agregious opinion... Only from me who has worshipped Mortal Kombat 1 through 4 only...1992-1998.... 🕹🙏🏻☯️🧘🏻‍♂️🎧📺💯🐲 They could have done a little bit better
