Sorry it has been so long since I've uploaded a video! Life has been a bit crazy as of late, but it's all finally settling down and I'm able to work pretty consistently.
Anyhoo, I have no idea how this video is gonna turn out since I am uploading this bitch and going to bed, but I wanted to upload a video to show all the stuff I have been adding and working on in GTTOD - bugs and all, to let everyone know exactly where I'm at as far as gameplay is concerned.
So, what you are seeing in this video is basically "Act 1" in GTTOD. It's three levels and a bossfight long, and typically takes about 20 - 30 minutes to complete. I am not sure if it'll be happening in THIS update or the next, but all levels in the main mode of GTTOD will eventually be in a set (but seemingly random) order, which means you'll get different levels each time you start a new run. So Level 1 and Level 2 will be totally different for you compared to the last run that you did. All-in-all, Act 1 will eventually have either 5 or 7 levels that I will be able to alternate between. Act 2 and Act 3 will be the same way as well, so the total runtime of a game / run of GTTOD should be about an hour to an hour and a half. I'm pretty happy with this since the game is meant to be played similarly to Risk of Rain 2, where-as you pick it up and play around for a bit and do a few runs every now and again. During these runs you'll be unlocking new arenas, new levels, and new Starter Cards with modifiers to keep things interesting.
There's also Endless Arenas and the Rogue Like mode too that can be played pretty much indefinitely. I'll have a separate video here soon showing those off as well.
