Archbishop of Canterbury receives the Coronation Bible at Lambeth Palace

The Coronation Bible will be the first and most important gift offered to The King. It’s a reminder that Scripture is at the heart of the responsibilities His Majesty will take on during the Coronation, and at the heart of Christian life.

Dear Archbishop Justin Welby, thank you for the gift of your splendid achievement in the coronation service 6 May 2023. I have watched it and listened to it already a few times, and it not does lose interest but strength in it grows. I have watched two KZfaq video records of the service, and I notice that in both of them the elevation of the host and the chalice has been cut. I deeply regret this. I learnt that in the elevation of the host and chalice we invite the Lord Jesus to be present in the holy sacrament, spiritually, symbolically, in real presence, in the words we are given to understand, and personally, in the holy action lifting skywards of the holy food I find deep meaning. Was this cut from the service by the Church or by some other power? In my task of writing my "Stean Anthony" work, as I go forward to build a bridge to other faiths, I intend to keep the holy eucharist at the heart of my love -- I wish the elevation to remain there in perpetua, a sign of love and reconciliation, all churches [[and mystically I will know God who is love there in all true reality and unity with all faiths]] -- the bridge of love that I wish the work to be. with thanks and love for you, may you be happy, prosperous, healthy and in peace this day and always amen.

Justin Welby, the archbishop of Canterbury, hosted a group of British Muslim clergymen for tea and cake at Lambeth Palace, his official residence. Among those in attendance were Mohammad Ali Shomali, a former representative of Iran whose organization is currently under investigation by UK authorities, and Mohammed Kozbar, who has praised Hamas, associated with notorious anti-Semitic Islamists, and is the deputy head of a group that has been boycotted by the British government since 2009 for its pro-terrorism stance

For though you, the archbishop, swore that no marriage took place, you shook hands with her. She considers the private vows to be your priestly security and pledge. For the cathedral, the altar and the veil were little more than a spectacle to her. Though your service to the church is second only to the throne, your flock observed you locking your door while mumbling, “I see the matter against me and how it is framed. Arch Bishop it was magnificent well done. It was humble yet majestic. The word of God weaved heavily into the magnificent fabric of the day. To see a Christian mass beamed to the world was a joyous thing. Long live the King and Queen and yours truly 💜
