Suggested introduction to say before playing video:
‘The crisis in the world wide Anglican Church has come to a head. Leaders representing 85% of the members of the worldwide Anglican Church have met in Kigali Rwanda.
They have expressed no confidence in the Communion’s UK based leadership.
The presenting issue has been the Archbishop of Canterbury and his leadership team ‘conforming to the ways of the world’ on sexuality, but the root issue has been their lack of trust in the authority of God’s word.
Let’s watch this short video. And then we will pray for our local leaders… that in this uncertain time for our denomination, they might put faithfulness and obedience to Jesus ahead of loyalties to traditional structures. Leaders representing the majority of Global Anglicans have run out of patience with the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, and also all the other ‘instruments of unity’ in the Anglican Communion.
GAFCON 23 has issued with what may be one of the most significant ecclesiological declarations made in a century or more.
The statement’s criticism of Welby is loud and clear:
"We have no confidence that the Archbishop of Canterbury nor the other Instruments of Communion led by him (the Lambeth Conference, the Anglican Consultative Council and the Primates’ Meetings are able to provide a godly way forward that will be acceptable to those who are committed to the truthfulness, clarity, sufficiency and authority of Scripture. The Instruments of Communion have failed to maintain true communion based on the Word of God and shared faith in Christ."

It is so encouraging to see Christians come together and make a stand for truth when it is right and obvious to do so. The bishops of the church of England need to repent and return to the Word of God rather than simply follow two steps behind every whim of our debased culture.

As a non-denomination born again believer, this does my heart good to see and hear an established church say NO to leaders who would violate the fundamental tenets of the Bible. Glad to hear this denomination is not trying to move God, instead they are moving toward God/Christ. Putting it this way. To be a Christian, a follower of Christ, you must take in the entire Bible, not just some of it. Those who engage in Apostasy will not be saved. God's word is immutable, complete and without error.

@@nancyzimmerman5789 Same sex marriage, homosexuality, this is an abomination before God. If a Church that purports to follow Christ teaches that same sex marriage is acceptable, this is apostasy. I've provided a few scriptures in the Bible ( Old and New Testament) that reference this: Noah and Ham (Genesis 9:20-27), Sodom and Gomorrah (Genesis 19:1-11), Leviticus laws condemning same-sex relationships (Leviticus 18:22, 20:13), two words in two Second Testament vice lists (1 Corinthians 6:9-10; 1 Timothy 1:10), and Paul's letter to the Romans (Romans 1:26-27). Describe rape or attempted rape (Genesis 9:20-27, 19:1-11), Cultic prostitution (Leviticus 18:22, 20:13), male prostitution and pederasty (1 Corinthians 6:9-10; 1 Timothy 1:10), and the Isis cult in Rome (Romans 1:26-27). @@jondear772 For example Solomon had many wives and concubines; David abused his position to obtain Bathsheba; Jacob cheated Esau; ‘eye for an eye’ which is later qualified by Jesus…..They describe events and behaviours but they do not prescribe we do the same. They describe human failure and at the same time point to the grace of God at work despite human failure. It’s a phrase used by either Alister McGrath or John Drane in their books about the Bible. It’s not about disregarding or disrespecting the Bible but on the contrary taking it very seriously and discerning what it was saying in its time so that it may be applied to today recognising also that different world cultures will read according to their realities (eg an individualistic Western culture will read through that lens, whereas the more communal African culture will read through that lens such that different perspectives emerge).

As sad as this schism has become. I feel a sense of relief that those who lead the predominant majority of the Anglican Communion, have served final notice to Justin Welby and his revisionist Bishops. I think it significant too, as the Universalist King Charles coronation is about to take place. He too is effectively served notice. It is clear that Charles has no inclination to preserve and contend for the faith which was once and for all delivered to the saints. The world is changing rapidly as biblical truth is forsaken.

@@mkfort Yes, but any kind of vain philosophy that focuses on the values associated with reason... elevating some kind of mystical knowledge or gnosis as an enduring, principle or truth in itself falls short. The Apostle Peter declares the exclusivity of Christ as the way the truth and the life... that.. "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we MUST be saved." Acts 4:12 The Apostle Paul gives errant understanding (ignorance) an expiry date... "So having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now proclaiming to mankind that all people everywhere are to repent, because He has set a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness THROUGH a Man (Jesus) whom He has appointed, having furnished proof to all people by raising Him from the dead.” Acts 17 There is no room left for any kind of religious pluralism that might suggest that there are many paths to God. @@haweavivian48 you called Charles (no King but Jesus) a Universalist. I heard Justin Welby saying "more unites us than divides us". That in itself is a damning reflection on where the Archbishop of Canterbury stands. God's blueprint for marriage and sex is not a secondary 'it's ok to disagree' issue, as clearly pointed out in this video by Rico Tice. The majority of the Anglican Communion must stand very strong on this. This is a line that it must not cross..I was reading Galatians last night and the Apostle Paul was very clear, calling out those that were following a "different gospel". Welby is by his stance, following a different gospel.

See 3 John 2 : 9,10 - the instruction given is clear - not even to wish well a false preacher and to realise for oneself that social involvement with someone known to be wicked is to partake of wickedness. p.s. just wish that there was a word that translated ‘metanoia’ which avoided the guilt-laden word ‘repentance’ which occludes in its orientation to the past the element of forward choice and exercised judgement in the original Greek word. Arch Bishop of Canterbury Latest Comments: The archbishop should surely be aware of a passage in his instruction manual which tells him that he cannot serve more than one master. “Ye cannot serve both God and mammon.” Why is Welby so concerned with historical slavery over which none of us had any control when modern slavery exists and is just as wicked and cruel? I have not heard him stand up to the modern slave owners around the world. He could start with some of his favourite people: Africans and Middle Eastern Muslims. Why the silence, Welby? Is Welsby a politician or a bishop??? Surely these are the final nails in the coffin for the Church of England. All other Protestant denominations should distance themselves from the Church of England. This should be a good time for the Christian faith to find relevance again in the wake of terrible moral guidance being provided by Western Social Liberal Democracies (especially in the Anglosphere). The Church of England are determined to make Christianity a Fringe Movement in England. This is the same man who a few years ago wasn’t sure if there was a God. I do seem to remember Jesus saying the render unto Caesar that is Caesars and God that is GOD’s. Or words close to that. Separating the political from the spiritual. And there Welby is, a spiritual leader, being nothing but political. He should have a look at himself. What the speaker said about racism is heartwarming. No Christian can be racist as it doesn’t make any sense. A relief to hear!!! Welby's just the tip of the iceberg. What's Welby's address? I'd like to send him a book which may help him. It's called the Bible. Not sure he's heard of it. It may help with his religious sermons and public statements. It contains morals and wisdom and rules. It is a much better guide to life than his current references such as the mission statements of BLM, Hamas, C40 Cities, Worl Health Organisation, World Economic Forum, Mermaids and Stonewall!!! He clearly needs an exorcism!!! Syria - 500,000 dead, Yemen - 377,000 dead, Afghanistan - 176,000 dead, Darfur - 300,000 dead, Iraq - 400,000 dead, Ukraine - 500,000 dead, Congo - 860,000. These are data from the United Nations, for your information.” Not a single resolution from the UN. Ecclesiastes 10 1The heart of the wise inclines to the right, but the heart of the fool to the left. Even as he walks along the road, the fool lacks sense and shows everyone how stupid he is. If a ruler's anger rises against you, do not leave your post; calmness can lay great errors to rest.

@annefranciselizabeth3840 11 ай бұрын
The 20k denominations you reference (actually, there are many more) can also be grouped with the RCC! Nothing stops the Orthodox Church from lumping all non-Orthodox Churches (including the RCC) together and giving them one name - say, "the Heterodox" - and then pointing derisively to "20k" Heterdodox denominations. Baptists can play the same disingenuous linguistic game by lumping every non-Baptist (including RCC) under one name (e.g. "Paedo-baptists") so as to "prove" that only Baptists are coherent! What people find so attractive about Romanism (namely, its apparent cohesiveness) is an illusion achieved by simply lumping all non-RCC together as "Protestant". Romanism is actually more fractious than the Reformed Churches. There are nearly as many "RC Orthodoxies" as there are Roman Catholics. Why? Like the Bible, "the Catechism"/"the Canon Laws" of the RCC must also be interpreted. In an attempt to enforce artificial uniformity, the RCC replaced a divine book with a human distillate of the same. But unlike the Bible, only very few doctrines in "the Catechism" are infallibly defined (such as the Assumption) so most of its stipulations are mere pius opinions. Therefore, literarily every RC has his/her private orthodoxy. I know many Romanists who have declared Pope Francis an anti-Pope or a "Protestant Pope" simply because they disagree with his NON-DOGMATIC OPINION on some aspect of the "Catechism!" There is more doctrinal unity between the CLASSICAL forms of the major Reformed denominations (Anglican, Methodist, Presbyterian, Lutheran, Baptist, etc) than amongst the confusing array of Romanist contortions (Mainline, Montinian, Sedevacantist, SSPV, SSPX, Conclavist,s Lefebvrist,Catholic Restoration, Sedeprivationist, Ultramontanist, Semi-traditionalist, Concilarist, Neo-ultramontanist, Novus Ordo Catholic, Catholic Liberal, Extraordinary Formist, Opus Dei, Divine Mercy cultists, etc, etc) each making up its own "Catholic Truth" on the go. Ironically, it is easier to know what a Reformed denomination believes than to pin down RCs to anything. For example, I do not know any Baptist who believes that the President of the Baptist Convention is an unsaved heretic. But there is a vibrant army of zealous RCs online screaming that all Popes since Paul VI (some even add John the XXIII for good measure) are damned heretics and false prophets!! What can be more fractious?

Sir... The Coronation means nothing if It is just ceremony and empty words... unless the man swearing to uphold those vows to God, to be "Defender of THE Faith" (singular), actually understands the solemnity and exclusivity of the promises he is making. Indeed, God offers salvation from sin and death in the shedding of Christ's blood ALONE, to atone for our sins... forsaking all other false gods according to the 1st commandment. Obedience to the truth is at the heart of Christianity. For Charles to say that he wants to be the defender of "faiths" plural, is to betray those vows outright. Charles' desire to be inclusive and amiable, in order to please ALL people, is to dishonour and displease God. Christian faith is totally incompatible with the Universalist beliefs that Charles clearly holds to. I find it incredibly selfish that a bunch of Bishops appointed by a secular government defy the teaching of the Bible, the Apostles, the Early Church fathers, the 39 Articles of the Churches official teaching and doctrine and the majority of the world Anglican Communion, to split the Church in favour of the secular world and false teaching. That is selfish... and really... exceedingly sinful. They are called to repent, for what they are doing opposes Christ. It will not go well with them in betraying their ordination vows to defend gospel truth.

Why KC3 should not be King of a Christian nation. He is a Shriner & a 33 degree Mason. He has also been known to ware an Islamic Fez Hat, as all Shriners. The Red in the Fez which was originally white represents the blood of 1000's of mainly Christian women & children slaughtered on the streets of Fez, Morocco. Also, he helped fund & establish the Finsbury mosque. In one of his speeches he proclaimed he wanted the UK to become more Muslim as he thought Islamic religion to be far superior to the Christian faith. He & his family are impostors of the Venetian Black Nobility. "During the butchering of the people of Fez, the streets literally ran red with the blood of the martyred Christians. The Muslim zealots dipped their caps in the blood of their victims as a testimony to Allah. These blood stained caps eventually were called Fezzes and became a badge of honor for those who killed a Christian."
