I seriously can't thank you enough for making this video! Chances are, I would not have heard about this if it didn't show up on my recommended bar! The simplicity and open design of the structure is really great as it could easily be repurposed for storage or whatever. That combined with the fact that the price per square foot is sooooooooo much lower when compared to any other alternative. At least for my area it is. We really appreciate you taking the time to make these videos!

@2:58 you show a cabin with a bump out. I'm surprised you don't offer a side door framing option, with a header between two arch beams, allowing for a wider opening. A bump out addition is a very easy way to add on later with conventional construction. Looks like a great product! Thanks for posting.

Do these pass Florida Building codes? In particular (per the my county): "Exterior walls must meet the requirements of Chapter 6 of Florida Building Code (FBC) Residential. The roof assembly will have to meet the requirements of FBC Residential Chapter 9. Insulation type and “R” value will be determined by FBC Energy Conservation calculations. An energy form will need to be completed and submitted with the building application. Interior wall finish will need to meet the requirements of FBC Residential Chapter 7."

@Marimilitarybrat From the Arched Cabins website concerning installing more windows: "Skylights and windows can be installed in the sides of the Arched Cabin with metal roofing as long as they're less than 2 feet wide. Steel ribs run every 2 feet underneath the metal roofing panels, and to keep the Arched Cabin structurally sound we don't recommend cutting into the ribs to place a window or skylight in. If you do want to install a larger window, door, or design a bump-out on the arched walls, the structural steel will need to be heavily reinforced to ensure the structure remains sound. We recommend working with our engineering team to make sure the cabin remains structurally sound if you plan on doing this." Hope that helps! Thank you for watching and commenting!

@Michael Svenson From the Arched Cabins website concerning installing more windows: "Skylights and windows can be installed in the sides of the Arched Cabin with metal roofing as long as they're less than 2 feet wide. Steel ribs run every 2 feet underneath the metal roofing panels, and to keep the Arched Cabin structurally sound we don't recommend cutting into the ribs to place a window or skylight in. If you do want to install a larger window, door, or design a bump-out on the arched walls, the structural steel will need to be heavily reinforced to ensure the structure remains sound. We recommend working with our engineering team to make sure the cabin remains structurally sound if you plan on doing this." Hope that helps! Thank you for watching and commenting!

Arched Cabins come with Energy Star rated metal roofs, and R13 value insulation for the arched walls. We offer upgraded insulation for the arched walls up to R25, and we recommend spray foam insulation if you need a higher R value than what we offer. The cabin design is very efficient, and they can be heated and cooled easily with window units, mini-split systems, and wood burning stoves. i like to contribute to the design: have the outer roofing/walls like the multicolored in light blue, blue, green, light green, grayish white, light brown, like SLATE multi-colored. May i have a discount in case, i like to buy one arch cabin 8 x 20; maybe be located on WV 30 x 100? But, not sure, really where; because, the taxes in WV is way too high; i am getting another?

Some counties or cities will have tighter restrictions but many states require a dwelling to be a minimum of only 120 sq ft!
