@@GOHUNT I currently have the insatiable 3 which is a three finger, but because I still like "command" (hitting the button) and the "fit" of the addiction (curve). With the four finger it makes the release more stable in the hand because of the little finger. Also with my I3 I have to manually push over the jaw which I dislike. I am going to order the addiction "4" tomorrow. 🏹🤠👍

Yes exactly. You would clip the release on the d-loop and let it hang on the string with your bow. Then when a deer comes in, you grab your bow and the release will be right there ready to go.

The Insatiable 2 does accommodate people with a little bit larger hands better. A release very similar that might be a better fit for you is the Carter Wise choice. It has all the same easy functions for loading and is smaller in the hand than the Insatiable 2.

If you want small.... You should consider the Carter Ember

Anything with a locking seir, just keep off the trigger till you are on target.🏹🤠👍

@@theamazinggoldfish8713 Thank you for getting back to me. I got a new release as I think it was do to the wrist band being to big which probably hit the trigger. I am now using a handheld one instead and so far so good. I just need to get that misfire out of my head.

@@geminidream4347 My problem with the wrist release is as I shoot more and start to sweat (Alabama) the anchor point slips/changes. I was trying to order a Tru ball Boss X but just found out that they are discontinuing the line. I just ordered me a Carter insatiable 3 which is a whopping $220. My head is still spinning & my ears are already hurting from the thumping I'm going to receive for doing this! Lol🏹🤠👍

@@geminidream4347 I just had a miss fire with my NEW Carter. [One more suggestion]> What just saved me this time is, I don't start my Draw off high. I Do have the bow above the target but "aiming down" as I drop the bow using it's momentum to help draw the bow. Then with the bow at full Draw I bring it up slowly to the target. This is good for target aiming but if you are planning on hunting you would be busted by the deer. For hunting start your Draw aiming at your target and doing a smooth draw. (Much harder with primarily one arm). I prefer World Archery (target) or 3D shooting. One last suggestion> try purposely miss firing just short of the target using the first method to get over the fear. Can't hurt the ground.

@@theamazinggoldfish8713 Thank you for these great tips. I start my draw similar to yours, downward so that if it does get loose, it will only hit the ground. I've had no issues (knock wood) with my TruBall Fang. It fits good in a woman's hand and it is not even the small version. I only plan to hunt if necessary for food or ethical culling so that I can have the meat donated to food shelters. If you rally the troops to this idea before hand, you can get it done. LOL I also recommend to people to not toss the hide, bones or antlers as crafters will snap these up quick and the animals life has meaning this way when you utilize as much of it as you can. Plus you make a few bucks, pardon the pun. lol
