still transferring some more classic mtv archival footage. now, if anyone has the original airing of this when courtney love crashed madonna's interview with kurt loder... please message me and we can talk and do something. still trying to look for mine. but think my original tape suffered from water damage. the original footage was live and was great live tv.

People are looking waaay too hard at this and acting like they were practically in a MMA cage fight. I love Courtney but she was a MESS back then and we probably don't know half of it! A lot of inside industry folk probably felt the same way when she would show up. To me it looks like Madonna was actually having fun with it. A lil friendly shade? ...ok. But not Death Match '95. Lol

I remember this interview and watching it on tv and I was like , wtf 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️. Madonna was so pissed. Can’t say I blame her. But I can’t remember a time in the 90s when Courtney wasn’t on drugs.

Well, Madonna always wanted attention, from the very beginning obviously. But she was going thru a bit of a “more sophisticated and mature” phase at this time, and even with all her attention seeking she probably wouldn’t throw physical objects and crash someone else’s interview in such an obnoxious manner.
