I have temperature/environmental sensors in and out of my house. After a few years of uptime they periodically die, generally because of the ethernet shields. Join me as I upgrade a generic nano with a enc28j60 ethernet shield to a genuine Arduino Every with a Robotdyn W5500 V2 ethernet shield.
Taking advantage of the extra memory in the Every, I test the new hardware with a Hello World server that includes a favicon.

I originally wrote the favicon code for an enc28j60 ethernet shield. I found this forum thread that pointed me in the right direction to get it working:

I later re-wrote the code to work with a w5100 shield which is what is in this video for the w5500.
The web server code is based on the web server example that comes with the ethernet2 library.
