This week, Trump's team will argue before the Supreme Court that he is above the law.
It's a BS claim and he knows it, but until SCOTUS rules, the federal criminal conspiracy case against is on hold.
He's trying to run out the clock so he can't be convicted before the election.

Bill Clinton was going to jail the moment he left the White House if he hadn't taken a plea deal simply for perjury charges, a crime Trump would commit about every 3 seconds if allowed on the stand. I have little faith that the supreme court will do the right thing in the immunity case after allowing donnie to remain on the ballot after clearly violating the 14th amendment. They will do everything in their power to make sure he gets reelected president.

Whether he’s actually convicted of these crimes or not, I can assure you, history will be unmercifully brutal to him.

If the supreme court wants to discuss, I think they should be asking for a serious list of crimes he thinks he should need to commit. If they are going to consider allowing him to commit murder as was his prior example, then we the people need to go make an opening statement I guess.

Being above the law is the power of a king or other type of dictator, and should not belong to a president. Anyone who wants to be above the law wants to be a king or dictator, and that should disqualify them for the presidency (or for any government office). That's just how it would be if I had my way.
