Need a link to the lures in the description. Glad to see you caught a few fish with them, and that pike wow 👍. Its nice fir a change to see some one actually fishing and not just skull draging everything in.

Keep at it 😁💪 I fish a lot so it’s easier to figure out what the fish want, it’s all about the hours you put into it, the time pays off 🎣🤝

Not really man, I’d fish them the same as this, jerk the lure and let it sit for a second to give the trout a chance to hit it 👌

We've got hundreds of stuff off it. For about a euro or two. Fly fishing stuff and spinning stuff. All brilliant stuff.

great video Simon, just looking to get into trout fishing now with the kids in Dublin, theres a river close enough to us, we have seen a few small trout and its full of minnows, its not very deep though, wil lthey live in even shallower water sections yeah? cheers.

Thank you, *Senan 🎣💪 definitely give it a go, if there’s minnows there will be trout, you will catch them on spinners or small wobbler style lures, the shallow fast flowing sections can be brilliant 👍

I fish a stretch here in cork, and like that out of the blue after about 12-13 yrs of fishing it I have started to get pike, maybe they are moving about the catchments to seek food, its a good crack catching them on the light gear but the heart always races thinking its a 3 or four pound brown

If you watched my other videos before passing judgement you would see I always emphasie wetting hands, it’s not always possible when fishing from a high bank, please realise this.

Never put any time into it jack, unfortunately the closest decent salmon river to me is well over an hours drive. I get preoccupied with trout and pike a lot of the time.

I’d concentrate around the sides of the canal, the pike will be sitting beside any structure, any weedbeds also, slow sinking lures like spro bbz 👌

Myself and my fishing buddies have never actually paid to join a club or a stretch of water before but are thinking about it this year. Is it worth it as most savage spots are behind a pay wall 😂

Would definitely pay to fish a club stretch, public stretches are good but get destroyed by poachers and worm fishermen killing everything for the table. ☺️

Whenever I get a chance really, after work in the evenings. Rivers are very overgrown now so not doing as much on the river at the minute.

At least if you get snagged and break off it's not the end of the world. I snagged a Salmo minnow the other day. Raging 🤦♂️

It’s really handy with the single hooks they rarely every snag on anything, even on overhanging branches they never really get hooked👌
