Thanks for your insights. I would _love_ to install the Group N motor mounts, but I don't have a lift and have only limited tools on hand... I've done my pitch stop, Group N trans mount, Whiteline positive shift kit, and rear diff mount inserts and I feel that those engine mounts would be just the cherry on top! However, it just doesn't seem like it's something that I can do at home like those other installs 😫

I've had a set of Torque solution i have yet to install because of how much of a pain they are without a lift. Ill get to them some day I guess. Ill probably do pitch stop and trans mount when I do TS positive shift kit.

Completely understand your thought process. The trans mount and positive shift kit will give a big benefit that you can immediately feel. Good luck 🤛

I have the group n transmission Mount, perrin brace and pitch stop mount and bunch of Whiteline bushings. I have a set of group n engine mounts in storage. Tuner was against installing them lol

Just broke my engine mount driver side 😅, interesting how long it takes to replace them ?

That sucks to hear, honestly they don't really take a whole lot of time to replace. The thing with them is you just have to put your hands into a lot of areas that if something goes wrong you may lose some fingers. I have a video of a walkthrough install on my channel if interested. Had to do it walkthrough style after the install as during the install it wasn't PG friendly lol.

I love the Group N. I have stiff poly in other applications and I just didn't want that NVH in the STI. The Group N works so well, I dont understand why it isn't what these cars get from the factory. The OE mounts are remarkably bad. And it's definitely a not a fun install.

Agree, the factory mounts are horrible. They should have at the minimum put the N's in there from the get go.
