Anyone, even the smartest people, can fall in the trap of finding so much comfort in a movement/ideology/theory that they become blind to reality and to real life consequences. They become biased, very selective and exactly who they dislike without realising it over time. We see them in Indian mainstream media, for some - this is their job. But, have you fallen prey to this?

Frankly I feel everything about this video was great but I dnt really think( it's my opinion) we can afford to think about individuality in a country like India where we have so many people below poverty line, so many who are under nutritioned if we think only about ourselves who is going to think about uplifting that lot. Yes we can think about our individual self maybe 50 years down the line when we grow out of poverty. Also the right ideology is important, not just some vote bank ideology.

I think she means individuality vs group culture as in obcessing over society/ family vs completely isolating yourself from them. I think we should be reasonably in between.

Individual reality doesn't matter when you are living in a society for collective beneficiary which works by what majority wants, thinks or believe because any functional society can only work by catering to majority first. This individual(basically leftists), liberal thought sounds great but it's far from reality and only makes it feels good for teenagers. We all belongs to some sort of group, you for example belongs to female group,even that group has been classified into many, same as mine as a man, we all belongs to some sort of group in our society, hiding, making excuses, playing neutral or running away from it won't help. Sooner or later you might have to choose some group which you might believe is right, pick wisely.

No, distracting music is ITSELF discourteous, Anubhuti! It is an aural impedance to the viewer who is trying to understand EA. And this habit is in fact a common and increasing occurence with many online videos nowadays. You wouldn't play the radio or television while trying to talk to someone in real life. Have the same courtesy on KZfaq.

@Anubhuti: I agree you're right that I could have phrased my point more politely. It verged on snark. But at the same time, I think the core issue is roughly analogous (with real life), since all listening is active. When you're talking to someone-wherever that is-then courtesy requires making their act of listening to you as easy as possible for them.
