You Deserve MORE out of Life!
Aubrey Marcus is an experimentalist, unconventional fitness junkie, successful entrepreneur, New York Times Bestselling Author, and human optimizer. With over 50 MILLION podcast downloads, it’s time to optimize your life with Aubrey Marcus!
Aubrey and I get REAL about how he has challenged social norms and lived life on his own terms. He opens up about being in an open relationship and how polygamy challenged him to combat his own need for validation and supercharge his monogamous marriage with his wife today.
We dive deep into the POWER of CHOICE and unlocking your FREEDOM to live life on your own terms. By practicing your awareness of choice and stop doing things because you “should” do them or because you “have to” do them, you’ll be able to do things because you WANT to do them and open up an entire new world of possibilities and freedom.
The number one wish people make on their deathbed is - “I wish I would have let myself be happier.”
This interview will give you the skills to start living happier NOW before it’s too late.

Ed, First of all, I want to thank Aubrey for coming on and sharing his thoughts and experiences with your followers. His conversation shows that he has walked through fire and has risen from the ashes to become a humbled and enlightening human being. But more importantly, I want to thank you for facilitating these interviews; in my opinion, you are by far the best at bringing the best out of people. You ask deep but practical questions and then listen so intensely to the answers that it creates an atmosphere filled with fireworks that oftentimes makes me say, WOW! What an amazing applicable lesson. Brother, Thank You for what you do, and I wish you the best of life blessings.

Wow! This was a really deep interview! I loved the explanation about why people choose not to be happy. It's a kind of self sabotage. They're afraid to hope for something better because then they become vulnerable and might be disappointed and feel pain. However, choosing to be unhappy causes them the exact pain they were trying to avoid to begin with. A smile always works for me to lift my spirits and others around me. I definitely don't want to reach my death bed and regret not having chosen to be happy during my life. Thanks Ed for all of your amazing content and for the extraordinary people you interview! Happy holidays #MAXOUT

I have followed you for a while and listened to many of your interviews when you were the interviewee and the interviewer. I stopped them, rewind (digitally), took notes because it was so relevant and revealing. I never made a comment because I thought this to group the social media following and my ego was in the way of being in the herd. Now, I can't be invisible anymore because even if you already know it Ed, I praise you for being so generous in paying forward by sharing your expertise and experience and leveraging others' people genius and energy during interviews. I truly respect you for your humility, candor and boldness and I really appreciate your reverence to God, not playing Christian but being a great ambassador of the Kingdom. From one an entrepreneur to another, I am committing to pray for you, your family for your protection, provision and wisdom. You will always welcome in Montreal as my VIP guest. I wish you a very cheerful and peaceful end of 2020 and a blessed new year 2021!

Oh My Gosh! So much to unpack here! First of all, I’ve been following your content for a while and really dug your book. Much gratitude was channeled out to you in one powerful meditation after reading the last page! Here I go again, thank you! My time to watch your videos are usually during my workouts and I almost fell off my rebounder during this interview! You have a knack for connecting with people because of your empathy and sincere admiration for others’ work. It is solid, genuine, and authentic brother! You seed the soil and create space for others to share their truth and gift. Congrats! Ok now back to my falling off the bounder and almost landing on my nappy Shi-Tzu…Aubrey’s wisdom is unparalleled, and I absolutely devour his perspective and vision of the world we live in. You interviewing him felt more like the thrill of two surfers on a wave! I was immersed on that thrill right alongside you both and had goose bumps from beginning to end. One particular moment was your describing the feeling of finally being able to freed your authentic self after the passing of your beloved Dad. That resonated so much because I, too, have fell trapped into molding my existence into the constraints of my perception of what the ‘perfect’ daughter was. We do that out of immense love, admiration and in some aspect protection. We want to protect and validate their significance and super-hero image to the world. Oh man then the whole allowing ourselves to be happy was another mind blowing moment! God Lover it is just about allowance, period! And when we don’t, it’s either because of the fear of hope (mind blowing #4) or the mindset trap of thinking happiness come from the outside! If he loves me, or if I get promoted, or if make into the big league…This is all junk because we're handing the most precious and profound powers of LOVE into the hands of others! How much lunacy is this? We would not hand the leashes of our beloved dogs into the hands of others, how can we do that to ourselves? My Goodness, it’s all about looking yourself in the mirror, in the depths of your soul and ALLOWING yourself to being accepted, happy and LOVED! Sorry this is becoming a novel not a note! LOL But that stuff gets me going and I woke up today thinking I gotta go and thank Ed and Aubrey regardless of everything else is on my plate today. Happy Friday and I’m so happy for you! Go ride the waves of your life and your Dad will continue to admire your boldness as he always has! Yeeeeehaaa!! Cheers! Gigi

You don't need to be in an open relationship to love yourself, to have honesty and transparency in your relationship, like what he said was like putting yourself and your loved one in a very complicated, scary, horrific position in order to gain something good , like why would you make your life so much harder? Just food for thought.. but I always appreciate the new voices on the show, learning from different types of people and their views..

Aubrey didn't say you needed to be in an open relationship to learn all that stuff - it just happened to be his own path and that's how he learned.

It's understandable why folks struggle with just letting themselves be happier. They really do want it. The issue is when people hold onto resentment, envy, lack of forgiveness, fear even of success, when they become addicted to a state of worrying or stress falsely rewarding their brains with more of these thoughts and being led by flawed subconscious beliefs that color even their "happy" experiences. When I lived with end stage patients, I learned to go for what your heart leaps for, what your heart's intuitive nature, and your heart's intelligence is signaling you. Do not bury is under self doubt or lack of external validation. Go for it! Be YOU Bloom🌷

Edd!!! What you said about parent's influence at 17:40 ! OMG! As a 28-year-old woman.... I totally agree. My father is still here and there is always that sense of need for approval by him. If I am not getting it, I feel I failed at life. MAN! Thank you for touching on that. Apparantly this never goes away if you don't make the conscious decision and intention to live your life on your own terms. Parents gave us life and we are forever and extremely grateful but that decision how to live is ours to decide. When you make children have that in mind. This kid will have their own life when they grow up. You make sure you thought them HOW to think. From then on... their life, their choices, you are here to support when needed.

Even send you on a new trajectory in life, or help you find or establish a new thought process you never thought you were capable. The point being, it gets under 50,000 views yet invaluable to people. Cute cat videos get millions. Go figure. Some people just aren't ready to grow I guess. Keep the amazing content coming. If someone listens to nothing in this video but what he started talking about at 37:18, then you will have got your max value from this interview. Loneliness is the greatest predictor of early mortality! All this isolation and distancing is going to do way more harm that anyone could ever imagine! I have notice changes in my kids while the school was shut down just as well as I have noticed changes with some of the older people I have come in contact with through my work. “We can’t make the cure worse than the virus itself!”

Ed thank you so much for sharing that about your Dad & attending the meeting honoring him. That’s so beautiful & inspiring how MUCH he impacted people. It’s not about the number of people we impact it’s about the DEEP level in which we do it. ❤️💯 #MAXOUT 🙌🏼🙌🏼
