Right And Left Brain Dominance
According to the theory of left-brain or right-brain dominance, each side of the brain controls different types of thinking. Additionally, people are said to prefer one type of thinking over the other.
According to the left-brain, right-brain dominance theory, the right side of the brain is best at expressive and creative tasks.
The left-side of the brain is considered to be adept at tasks that involve logic, language, and analytical thinking.

Most of my responses were both a & b. I'm a pretty good balance of both. I love using logical thinking and problem solving. But my favorite part of puzzles are using creative answers and imagination. Maybe because I'm an author... With ADHD... Oh well, that was fun!

I got 5 for both and was diagnosed BIPOLAR~Borderline schizophrenic as a child, upon further review and therapy I was 1 person (stable thinking) alone but soaked up any thinking of the room in other settings. I'm left handed and this is quite accurate since I'm right brained, I love art, I've been practicing and having fun with it(sometimes getting tired of it cuz I'm forced to do it in art class) I'm very emotional,(I also have some anger problems) I am quite the thinker I can think for hours! I'm not sure if I'm creative or not, I usually take inspiration of my art from other people's art or designs from shows I love, I'm also a pretty big daydreamer, I always dream about my shows or daydream on fake episodes I make in my head or new drawing styles I can do!(it does come to the point where I lose my train of thought during class so that might lower my grades 😅 I daydream almost everyday and forget about the real world

its my hypothesis that the typical US school system curricula is geared to encourage more left brain dominance, which would most probably affect ppl who would most probably be right brain. Im very "left handed" which would make me right brain dominance (due to the cross over "neuron wiring" effect that occurs in all of us), but yet I scored 5 A and 4 B.

Interesting test except for the faulty numbering of the questions. For me it checks out.. 5A 4B. I'm perfectly happy managing a project or doing spreadsheets, but equally happy playing my bass..and yes, I rarely hear the lyrics and I can't remember them, but I can play the bass to many songs, even old ones because the notes and chord memory banks and processing centres are all busy with the music..lol

I love social studies and I’m pretty good at art. But I also like science a lot. I hate math but I’m not that bad at it. I’m a creative thinker and love discussion. But I also never think with my emotions. I think 70% of the right side of my brain is dominate while the other 30% is dominate to my left side. I definitely think logically. I’m also a great problem solver.

yup. Which actually makes sense. People who only really know me casually see me as analytical and logical, and those who are close see me as just the opposite. My theory is that some people (like us who got this kind of result) are well balanced between reason and emotion.

Actually it's like 50/50 for me. I love art and math at the same time. Before college I had a hard time picking between Architecture and Accountancy as my course. I always love art even as a kid, but I fell in love with math during highschool. In fact I got awarded 'Artist of the year' and 'best in math' during graduation. But I chose the latter nonetheless. Maybe I'm just more of a left-brain dominance. I scored 5:4 confirming it.

Same. Is that a thing? Being 50-50 on left and right? I love math, I do it for fun, same with puzzles (I got a half complete puzzle chilling on my bed rn). I am an observer and analyze many things at once. I even shock myself when I do this type of stuff. I always plan ahead and if my plan fails then I easily adapt my new plan. But then I become creative in everything I do. I remember wanting to become a painter when I was a child. And i love dance, it was the 2nd thing I wanted to do as a child but even then I knew that was a dead dream bc of my situation. So I let I go. Other times, I can see the potential of a craft. For example, I can be given a piece of paper and 2 sticks and I would be able to make a house or something with it (even now I can imagine how it would look like but also, I am looking at it from every angle, what are the limits of the paper and sticks and what I can possibly make with it and how long it will take) I love to do origami or draw a sketch and above all I love music. For its rythme and sound and usually afterwards, for its lyrics. These stuff got me believing that people can only be dominant in one side of the brain. I don't believe in that entirely, only when I will do my research in a few and find out if it is true then I'll believe it entirely.

Same. I ended up with 5 A's nd 4 B's, so it's more of a 50/50. I'll always use logical reasoning for all of my decision-making and discussions, have always been skilled with critical thinking without effort as well as tend to unintentionally bore people when I get too carried away with analyzing everything, but then, I hate subjects like math because I personally I personally find it boring because it doesn't tell a story, while I have a very active imagination and a knack for the visual arts, so I prefer delving into these "creative" types topics. If anyone is curious how a left brain-dominant tackles the arts, I approach it in a strategic, rather than spontaneous or emotional way, so maybe more like an architect, while I use my critical thinking skills to analyze people and relationships instead of crunching numbers. Just blend of each side. (But the down side is, though, that leaning pretty close to my right side is probably why I stink at math, while being more left brain dominant maybe has to do with why, even though I'm good at understanding people and situations, I've always been horrible at communicating with them and socially unskilled, according to everyone. Also, my multiple interests --they're a good reason why I also have the misfortune of struggling with decision-making when it comes to what I want to do in life in terms of career choices/PERSONAL fulfillment because you can only do one thing and I don't want to get bored with it in time).

Hmm...I am the most artistic person in my class, I’m only *one* of the smartest people but not the smartest, and I have *left brain dominance.* It also says that people with right brain dominance are emotional. Hmm. *I think my brain is messed up, ‘cause I have concealed depression, I am scared of the tiniest things, I have a very artistic and creative style, yet I am mainly left-brained.* Woohoo.

My guess (but I am not an expert) is that you are both left and right brain, high functioning but since right hasn't found the right way to function yet (a bit held back by anxiety and depression), it seems that left is dominant. But when you get your right brain in order I think it will be so good!

I just wanna share my thought i got 6 "B"s and 3 "A"s in my score board...i guess its nice to know i have both emotional creative and analytical. But i believe what really matters...when decision making try to solve the problem with both mind and heart.

Had to rewatch the spinning lady part. My first glance, i was convinced it spun anti-clockwise. Then i doubted my answer when i questioned myself if this were based looking on an overhead view or a bottom view. I glanced again and now it spun clockwise. Lol. Had to repeat that part several times and now it was just spinning clockwise based on an overhead view.

7 A's and 2 B's. Is the dancer spinning clockwise or anticlockwise? Whenever I blinked it changed, but I saw anti clockwise first and I prefer the melody to the lyrics when listening to the music for adrenaline and lyrics at other times, but usually the melody.

Being a Cyclothymic, I took this test twice. One in my manic, and the other in my depressive. My depressive is very left, while my manic is very right. I did both tests when they were very prevalent though, so they were my extremes. My first test before these was my midpoint, so it was very split and some answers could change based on which mood is leaning in.

Well right know as I'm taking this test I'm struggling with OCD and also a mental illness that changes my behavior. My OCD makes it really hard to focus and I am left brain dominant by 2 points. Also it depends what state I'm in so I get in either right and left.

After the 8th question both A's and B's were 4 each. And in the last question both A and B is true for me . I consider both the things. So that way it's 4.5 . Seems no side is dominant either both sides are equally good or equally bad .
