The ricky Gervais show season 1 ep1. Back ground - Ricky and Stephen Merchant (the pair known for making the tv show the office in the UK, there was an American copy) both worked as hosts on a radio show, their producer who was at the station is called Karl Pilkington, after several shows and talking to Karl they realised what "unique" human he is. After several seasons on the radio they decided todo a serise of Pod casts together. Later this serise was edited and animated and named "The Ricky Gervais Show" Totally worth a reaction and is pure comedy gold - General consensus from Ricky and Steve is that Karl's an idiot... you decide. While on the radio Ricky man it his mission to make Karl famous and a house hold name (which he achived) this spawned several shows featuring Karl traveling the world and his unique view of thing - An idiot Abroad and The moaning of life. One important thing to know.. Karl has a head shaped like a Fing orange 🍊

I think you should jump directly into An Idiot Abroad to get the Karl Pilkington experience. Go with Episode 1: China, since that has the most explanation at the beginning of who these people are and what's going on. I think you'll be knocked out... it's very entertaining.

Good afternoon, Mr Beats 🙂- I love Ricky he creases me up like nobody else, I've seen him live a few times and a word of warning, don't sit in the first few rows! he'll rip you to shreds 🤣 In this world of 'equality obsession' Ricky gives it to you on a plate, everyone is on a level playing field - no complaints, you wanted equality, careful what you wish for 😂 Apart from his acid tongue he also has a knack of bringing me to tears with his grasp of human nature, his other side includes 'Derek' "it's like when you want to squeeze a kitten a little too hard" or "Who'd win in a fight..." so sweet 🙂.... His 'After Life' had me doubled over laughing one minute and then sobbing uncontrollably like a child the next - beautifully written about a very tender subject. Oh, for sure go down the Karl Pilkington rabbit hole! Start with the Ricky Gervais Show, a show where they, along with Stephen Merchant, just get Karl to talk…because he’s comedy gold without even trying to be. Then, go with the Meet Karl Pilkington videos (I think there’s two). Next, doing the Learn English with Ricky and Karl. And, all of An Idiot Abroad. (If you react to those, which I hope you do, you’ll have to be sure to block out the picture on certain occasions- you’ll see!😂). I’ve binge watched that show multiple times. And if you haven’t watched The Graham Norton Show, I’d recommend looking for any of the “Best of” videos. It’s an amazing British talk/interview show with tons of actors, singers, etc. and it’s like an anything goes show. Have fun! British comedy is soooo good. Mr. Bean, Monty Python, Black Adder, Faulty Towers, Are You Being Served, Keeping Up Appearances,…love them all!

You want - An idiot Abroad - start from the beginning - The Ricky Gervais Show The Ricky Gervais show was when they were on a radio station called XFM in the early 200's for a few year. Karl was their producer, and Ricky just fell in love with how Karl was and got him on the radio. An idiot abroad, is Ricky throwing Karl around the world on TV in awful hotels to wind him up etc. Forcing him to do things he doesn't want to do. It's the perfect TV series. 3 series long and you really get to know the real unfiltered Karl.
