Forty years after the Alexanders left, the Ontario Hockey League is back in Brantford. They had to make some upgrades to the Civic Centre, mostly for modern broadcasting, as the Bulldogs moved from Hamilton. Look, this arena is a far cry from the NHL-sized First Ontario Centre but it gives you what you need for junior hockey. I'd describe it as a "classic" feel and if you've ever been to a game in the QMJHL, you've seen an arena like this. They're making good use of their space here, the fans are filling the seats every night, and these upgrades will get them through until a new arena is built.
