In her first Olympic Games at Tokyo 2020, Australia's Ariarne Titmus crowned herself Olympic champion in the women's 400m freestyle in a time of 3:56.69. She beat World Record holder Katie Ledecky of the USA who came in second in 3:57.36 to take the gold medal. Lisanne de Witte retells the whole Olympic story that made Ariarne Titmus a heroine. Tasmania is a state of Australia . Just sounds silly to call people by their birth state as if it was a country ( Titmus now lives in the state of Queensland where most Australian swimmers come from )

I used to like Titmus but I find out her coach is obsessed with Ledecky to the point he stalked her a couple of years ago and he said it proudly in an interview and Titmus didn’t say anything.

Ledecky is no looker lol I doubt it was anything other than ‘stalking’ her times hence Ari breaking it this year.

Litmus has to listen to me well. I'll make a deal with her. She wanted to make history to host another Olympics in Brisbane in 2032. Neither Litmus of Australia will defeat Katie Ledecky of the U.S., nor Katie Ledecky of the U.S. will defeat her rival from Australia Litmus. They wanted to have the same tie to share gold and just like Nancy Hogshead and Carrie Steinseifer in Los Angeles in 1984.
