Ariete Main Battle Tank - Marvel at the Power of the Most Enduring Tank in Europe

3 жыл бұрынC1 Ariete, the pride of the Italian Army is considered by the military scholars to be a tank with powerful firepower and good defenses. Not only that, this is also the most durable tank in the world when it can operate 16,000km continuously without overhaul.
The Italian C1 Ariete main battle tank was developed by Iveco-Fiat and Oto Melara, in which the chassis and engine were manufactured by Iveco while the turret and fire control system were provided by Oto Melara.
Ariete was born under the expectation of replacing the obsolete M60A1s of Italy in the 1980s. The C1 Ariete project was first revealed in 1986, shortly after, six prototypes were built in 1988. The first mass production was intended to be delivered to the Italian Army in 1993 but was actually delayed until 1995 and the final shipment was completed in August 2002. In all, about 200 C1 Ariete tanks were built.

Another informative video mister Dung 👍👍 I would say the Italian made C1 "Ariete" MBT was quite unique in all aspects and it was exclusively been develop based on the requirements of the Italian Army.

Just read an article that suggests Italy and Poland are gojng to work on new tank. Not sure how true this is, because i have read tha Poland is rumored to be developing a new tank with many diffrentbcountries. All these rumours cannot all be true 😉

Low armor.. I think it can easily penetrate the bullets on its armor..what do you think guys.. I think that kind of armor is not enough because many modern tanks now is heavily protective and verry thick armor that cannot easily penetrate the bullet

They choosed weight, speed and availability over a heavy armor. They did it mainly because of terrain of Italy

Muy buen video. Lamentablemente una vez más Italia se queda fuera de los estándares Mundiales en lo que se refiere a Tanques de Guerra esto debido a que el C1 Ariete no está en el Ranking de los 10 mejores tanques Mundiales, algo así ya le ocurrió a Italia en la 2da Guerra Mundial cuando sus tanques no estuvieron a la altura de los tanques Aliados

Dung don't listen to the whiners about your narration they're just looking to get someone to notice their nothing existence for once! you do just fine considering the limited amount of time you've been speaking English on here! and inform the narrator that the 59 in the machine designation is where an upgrade occurred not a separate design! MG42/59 means a MG 42 upgraded in 1959! given is accent he probably doesn't have much exposure to the world of guns and doesn't know the designation systems very well!

It's not a War Thunder, it's not all about Armor. More important is range, speed, FCS, reliability, weight, where can it go and not sink in the ground etc. I'm really wondering where would Russia (enemy in mind while preparing during cold War) would deploy in Italy such tanks that you need a 500mm KE protection. If Russia or any other country had attacked Italy, it would be via lighter tanks combined with Naval invasion. Ariete has more than enough protection against such threats, while remaining fast and light to cross the Italian Terrain easily
