He had a young face for decades. He could’ve carried on with 21 Jump Street playing a high schooler for all 5 seasons if he wanted to, or even 10 seasons if it were to have ran that long. I’ve never met Depp but in every interview I’ve seen of him he seems consistently genuine and kind and generous, especially in dealing with the fans who constantly mob him. Idk how he does it, except his heart is obviously in the right place. He’s a far cry from the average “superstar” who either ignore fans or treat them like crap. Johnny imo is the #1 greatest actor of his generation. Not bad for a guitar player from Kentucky 😁 well done, Johnny. I applaud you sir 👏 👏

So I believe this is the same time frame as What's Eating Gilbert Grape. I've read that he doesn't talk about this period of his life because it was so sad and upsetting. So everyone here saying this him at his most beautiful, simply enjoying life are only seeing or projecting what they what to see. It's kind of cringe to hear him fake a French accent, but it's cool that there's this video of him as himself in a turbulent time, laughing.

i came across this movie on cable in the late 1990s, and it became an obsession.i must have watched it 25-30 times. it's so odd and captivating. the cast is perfect. i'm glad johnny holds it so dear,and doesn't think of it as just another job.

He lived in France. You learn so much. I learned a ton of French when I lived/worked in France, and had many French friends when I lived in southern Germany (near France). You understand everything, but can't always find the words to express it back. Answering in English is easier, when you don't have the confidence to answer back yet. I'm betting his French is great, but he's shy.

Suis je la seule à regarder cette vidéo entière juste pour cerner la béauter de cette homme dans chacun de ces mouvement .... ces sourire... sont regard ... il est tellement beau il a tellement ce quelque chose que tu ne voit pas sur d'autre homme.. une touche de timiditer avec un regard rassurant intelligent et charmeur .... et cette façon de fumer des rouler me dit qu'il doit s'évader de temps en tant dans certaine drogue illicite mais tu veut le connaître... Vegeta Solo -- I'm guessing so. The way he was replying after she was saying something was very seamless and there are times where he is speaking that the woman will add on something like a name or statement and he will concur. Makes me think they both are able to understand one another but cannot *speak* (enough of) each other's language to properly converse in one.
