I do like this tower designs, on SE I'd use my inside layer of triangle foundations then an outside layer of them and have stairs on the edges of the foundations and use walls, (later swapped to double door frames) and used hatch frames in an octagon shape around my tower depending on the tower I'd have 4-8 rows so this concept isnt far off of what I was already doing but now its fence instead of hatch frames. And costs a whole lot less to make it. Easy fast tower to get up even if you're just a duo.

i made a similar design but my problem was servicing the tower during an extended raid. so i made some modifications that would keep the core of the design but allowing for me to integrate species x and service the tower under fire while be able to replenish the turrets

2:36 vault drops still work, you just need to shoot down the ceiling under the vault instead of using demolish.

Yeah I kinda found that out a while ago, I figured it was a strange feature because why would they make it cost 50+ c4 to brake when ppl could just always go for the foundation which would be way cheaper

It's not just the ceiling*** the new change is that the structure holding it (wall or ceiling) HAS to take weapon damage for it to drop

Tbh, the only thing that's changed from ASE is the hatchframe meta. People will 110% still figure out how to build the same skeleton towers that they did in ASE

Man, that rail build out...could act since only the top part blocks could be a outward webbing blocking people from easy quetz bombing some of these builds without them first having to blow through the rails, which i dont know how easy is to c4 strap or 3rd person it.

Nice video. How do you feed and fill up the turrets though once placed? seems incredibly difficult to reach them. Is the ammo box still in game? could you set one up somewhere within the structure, and will that feed and fill up all the turrets?

You would have to grapple fill it which wouldn’t be hard just grapple to the very top of each turret and work ur way up and I haven’t check for the ammo filler but I don’t think it’s been added yet

That electrical gen on top of tower is exposed to flame arrows unless they changed what damages the generator

No flame arrows and no propellant since they're originally from Scorched, but yeah it still should be enclosed in some way or it would be destroyed easily

It looks like a very good start but why wouldn't you connect all of the pillers to the ground? Also if it is in anyway a prolanged fight filling those in combat are going to be a pain. Lastly geny should probably be one or two levels down from top and boxed in with a secret door to access.

The door frames are technically all going down I'm just missing the outer edge of the foundation also for the prolonging of fights that's always been a problem in ark it's just something that needs to be done until ammo boxes get added again also the gen is there for demonstration you can box it up top and extend railings our from it there's no point in putting it lower unless if you want more ground coverage but you just gave me an idea

@@DRS11235 probably but they don't help mid combat. You still have to fill manually when people are soaking. Grappling to them to fill will work but you will die a lot and lose ammo in combat.

@@DRS11235not until gen and I hope they take a long time to release gen as the element maps ruin the game despite the quality of life improvements they bring Exctinction gives us cryos, genesis one and two give incubators ammo boxes etc But they also ruin the element economy

You would want to set up ur base with turrets and you’d want to expand some towers out just make sure where you choose it’s a good location to setup and hold down

Hi this is a awesome design and i congratulate you on your find. I tried to improve on it, by making it easier to fill turrets, harder to run up/tame on and prevent someone dropping a stego on top to attack generator. one of the better designs. it is however way too small and needs to be upscales to hold around 100 towers, also need some extra snaps at the bottom somehow

Well with asa being so new a 100 cap turret tower isn’t really need no one is gonna have the bps or tames to push something with like 20+ turrets it might be possible but it will take a while but it will be needed

The door frames are snapped to the triangle foundations and the puller in the floor

All I do is left click once which places the foundations first kinda snap point down and it gives me the option to rotate or move up and down when I move my mouse up or down it raises or lowers the foundation idk if it works the same for Xbox tho

Grapples this design was made with the intent of being realtively cheap anf hard to drop you can grapple to fill the turrets up i was there during the design phase and believe this is pretty solid

It's a shame large frames are not in the game. You could fit max 3 but better if you placed two. The hatchframes used to be what...25k HP? 12.5k per turret. The railing only have 5k hp....why wildcard lol, idk why but placed two turrets on a 5000 hp structure doesn't do it for me :(

@@edvinkandenas348 iv heard something about that idk if it true, it sounds strange for them to add that to singleplayer cuz last I recalled I never got pulled up on singleplayer that much for it to be a problem (they actually made it to where structure resistance in singleplayer is 0.25 which the default is 1 what the hell are the devs thinking)

The other designs using pillars are too easy to hit the rocket misses the railings on this and if your being shot and shaking u wont be able to get consecutive hits on top of the multiple snap options and what not makes this a tower u gotta soak to finish

@@WildFWuse double doorframes for the turrets instead of railings Just put the turrets on the top and bottom of it it has 360 view from most areas and can even manage to shoot u below but on railings it doesn't shoot directly below the railing

gotta remember not everything is the same as survival evolved. Takes more c4 and rockets to blow stuff up now and with the game only being out for 2 days now if you get this tower up nobody is destroying it for at least a week and by that time he'd have more towers up.

Then your settings are bad. Everyone I know using High end PC parts are able to run this game just fine, and the ones who couldn't could, the moment they quit trying to run everything on the highest setting. Especially pointless things just eat up FPS

My opinion asa is trash. over populated servers I want to join, nobody’s recruiting when I ask or give um my dis. Info. Only thing I liked about it is that it was only 44$. Single player is enjoyable at least.🤪
