At those speeds and the bike following, if the perp had slammed the brakes for just 2 seconds, its could have lead to the police bike rear ending the F150. It could have lead to a fatality!

Technique is fine. But what if at those speeds the perp in F150 could have slammed brakes for just 2 seconds, at those speeds the bike could have rear ended the F150 and there could have been a police fatality!. What about that?

That was in BRYANT, *NOT* BENTON, Arkansas!!! City limits of Benton is about TWO miles SOUTHWEST of the Southern most part (the bridge over I30) of this chase. I AM a native of Bryant.

I agree. Endangering road users over a property crime is downright ridiculous. That one SUV was alert enough to swerve out of the way, but that was a mighty risky PIT. What I don't get is they have so many units in the chase, why can't a couple of them hang back and slow the traffic so the PIT can be done more safely.

If you want to see a really good chase , search for Brazil motorcycle chases. The police are on cycles and are chasing cycles. There is one that is really intense.
