Armamar capital of the Mountain Apple
Armamar's primary sector consists of the production of mountain apples, Douro and Port wines, cheeses, smoked meats and sausages. The apple is the most economically important product, which is why Armamar is known as the «Mountain Apple Capital».
In this video I show a circular route that runs through the entire municipality of Armamar, starting and ending on the A24 (Vila Real-Lamego) to escape the traffic of Régua. In this video I show a selection of the most representative villages in this region, both in terraced valleys with vineyards and in the highest part of extensive orchards.
