THIS IS HISTORICAL FACT..karl is partially correct about the dolphins...i remember years ago, a documentary, showing the u.s navy, doing actual trials with trained dolphins, ..the us navy would strap a magnetic mine, on the back of the dolphin, then through commands, given by the trainer the dolphin would dive to a specified target, out in the bay..the idea the navy were exploring, would be that the dolphins could sink an enemy ship, whilst the ship was at anchor in an enemy port ...the dolphin sadly, would be killed in the process (kamikaze style!)....i dont know if the u.s navy, ended the programme, or if its still active today..but i can assure you..the u.s navy, did indeed consider the idea...so karl is partially correct...

It does have truth to it. I have seen video and stills of beluga whales that approached a boat like they were accustomed to humans. They had some kind of harness. Not for them to fire guns but probably for location (GPS) devices or explosives to be remotely detonated near to enemy ships. These ones were suspected to be Russian trained but other countries have probably experimented.

I know this because when I was stationed in England one of the Sargents in my shop told us about going to the spa and how they were trying to convince him to have it done. One reason the wealthy like these expensive pieces of art, apart from making their house fit a certain image, is it's a way to keep their money safe. If you have money in the bank and your family knows about it then everyone wants a piece, but if you can hide that money by buying stuff that retains it's worth then you can hide how much wealth you actually have. Often they're insured way past what they're worth so if they're stolen it's no big issue.

This Monkey News is the most ridiculous one because it's basically all wrong! Ollie was real and was thought to be "the missing link" because he stood upright like humans and preferred being around humans. But he wasn't the only monkey at the zoo, he didn't go to the zookeepers home to be left with the wife (because she was also a zookeeper) and while Ollie was enamoured with female humans and tried it on with her she certainly didn't reciprocate or leave her husband for him. They immediately sold Ollie. He spent the rest of his life being sold to various people. He ended up stuck in a lab in a tiny cage having tests done for years. I imagine Karl just saw "Monkey tries it on with woman" and simply made the rest up.
