Hi Everyone Welcome to another Video. This weeks video is about the original Army Painter Speedpaints. It’ll be a mix of a test of the colors and a speedpaint review.
I always have to look up what colour my speedpaint is really going to look like so I thought now that I have been using them for a bit I would do a bit of an experiment and review all in one. In this video I have painted my paint bottle tops in their respective speedpaint colors. First they were primed black, then dry brushed grey, then dry brushed white, and finally painted with speedpaints. I decided to do it this way in order to get an accurate representation of what they would look like when I am slapchopping my minis. So it is kind of a simulated slapchop technique except with no mini and only a paint bottle top but the method is the same.
I'll be getting my Army Painter speedpaint 2.0 mega set soon and will be looking to do something similar because with even more colors to choose from I'll want to know what they look like without having to look it up. As a beginner the original mega set was great to get started and had a decent range of colours but I am very much looking forward to having a wider variety and will be doing an unboxing and review on those as well once I have them.
