It’s been my go to shoulder exercise forever and it’s probably saved me a shoulder injury or two. The range of motion is very long. I love it.

it saved you because you aren't doing shit to your shoulders. do lateral raises and overhead press.

I have real trouble extending my arms straight up like that even without any weights. I'm hoping it's just lack of flexibility, which I am desperately working on.

Been performing this with the zottman curls for a while now.. My shoulders and biceps are finally starting to form into muscle! Amazing exercises & thank you for demonstrating how they are done correctly.

Both are amazing dynamic movements. Staples for me as well as they target multiple muscle groups and help with stabilization.

i've been doing these recently as burnout and they destroy my delts. you can feel them getting shredded. i think they are good as a burnout exercise because you can hit all 3 heads of delt in one movement, after isolating them in other shoulder lifts.

Don't! The Arnold press was a joke! Do it for 2 months see no improvement. The shoulder press for 2 months get your gains back.

your form is fantastic man,out of thousand videos in youtube,people are first flaring their elbows,and then pressing,dangerous to joints.yours is perfect,in a swift continous motion the weight goes up and down.thank you man

Chase Kaplan I was just making a joke reflefting my undying loyalty to Arnold. But, from a trainer's standpoint, this exercise is actually amazing for not just developing shoulder strength, but also in developing better shoulder mobility.

Just tried these instead of the military press and I can already feel more of my shoulder muscles being hit, it is more difficultu and burns more! Or maybe its cuz its a new lift for me but still, feels great

to keep full tension on the shoulders you dont lock out by moving arms all the way up that puts elbow tension -_-

Technically it's the lateral head, as lateral means further from the body an medial means closer to the center. A common mistake, but the deltoid a do not have a medial head. Anterior, lateral, and posterior
