I have no idea how I got started on these bird videos, but evidently I watched one and now it has led me down a path...

The birds will start all over again and raise another family. That is the way things work in nature.

It's strange how after 5 days they were already getting bigger and suddenly the snake appeared, just like that. It certainly wasn't around when they were a few days old and they were still making enough noise when the parents came to feed them.

I gotta say, I’m so proud of these parents doing their very best for their babies. Such a sad ending though 😥

I can see how the bird care for their little ones by bringing them foods and make sure they are not cold in the rain but at the end the natures bring sadness to to their home what a sad ending. Like this video

Umm. Dad was extremely concerned about the missing babies! Mom on the other hand? Quickly eats the meal, tidy’s up a bit. Sits down and relaxes with her new space.

The reaction of the parents birds totally broke my heart. Both mama and papa bird came back with more food for their little one, but their baby was dead and gone. They’ve both worked so very hard to take care of and feed their young. Very sad to witness their tragedy. Animals are such amazing parents!

This snake in return will be a food for the eagles.

Gives new meaning to... "empty nest" syndrome we parents experience.

This happened with me 2 times 🥺🥺. A snake ate my 4 birds, a pair of purple sunbird and a pair of scaly breasted munia. 😭😭😭

All these bird watching vids I was getting recommended started off so peaceful. Now it’s “Hey, watch these snakes and demon bird eat these baby birds!”

No need to feel bad for the birds, it is what it is.. birds eat insects, worms, etc.. and they will be eaten by snakes and other predators.

I've always wondered why baby birds are so helpless in the wild, but domestic birds like chickens and ducks are pretty much good to go right out of the egg!? I mean obviously they still need to be protected, but they're nowhere close to being as helpless as a wild baby bird.

I love how the second one was screaming as it got swallowed and it's cries became muffled as it got forced farther down the snakes throat,that was badass.

Great Video, Those birds do not build the best nests at times, it's great what you did to try and save the nest. The camera has captured some amazing footage of nature at work. Sometimes the end results are not the best, but that's the way it goes in the wild unfortunately...😀👍

This is a very strange feeling... I don't feel scared at all. I can see everything clearly. I feel like, no matter how this all plays out, I can accept whatever happens. That's right, nobody's in the wrong. There's nothing we could do. Because this world is just that cruel.

Very interesting to watch. I can't believe the parents eat the poop. It was amazing to see those tiny chicks eat such big insects. It's a shame we couldn't watch them grow up.

Same thing happened at my house , bird had a nest where my plants are at she kept on stoping by until I decided to see turns out she had a nest and baby birds 3 days later I stopped hearing the baby birds crying so I went out to go check and there it was a big snake just laying around ,never saw the mom again

Been lucky around here the first and so far only nest I watched the babies grow up were wrens one of a few type of birds who will nest near humans and not abandon it right outside the back door I couldn't help but every hour go out and look at the babies never disturbed the nest hated I missed their first flight though their parents were sneaky we had gone in to eat was gone for maybe an hour come back out and the babies were gone saw them flying around with their parents in the trees but I did get to enjoy later that summer first flight of the cardinal babies it was amazing watching all three take flight the wrens stayed for a few days before moving on but the Cardinals they moved on after the kids were out of the nest both wrens and cardinals make nest around here every year but I have never been this lucky plus I had cats

I don’t know what mama was thinking when she gave the baby bird a HUGE caterpillar. It looked hard enough for him to eat, let alone cough back up after he couldn’t digest it. It’s really cool how attentive both parents are. Starlings are the same way, both parents actively take care of babies and incubate the eggs

This is so cool. We see the mommy and daddy birds feeding their offspring, protecting them from the rain, doing what they can to see their children will live. Then along comes a snake and quickly devours the first bird who cries out briefly before being eaten. The next bird cries out in terror as the snake eat it, as if saying "No, no, no, no, no" and then silence. The snake even comes back later in case it missed another bird. Then the parents with food for their babies come back only to find no babies to fee. Maybe the snake should have waited to eat the parents as well. This is so cool.

Now that bird is going full John Wick on the Snake.

Where I live we have robin birds made a nest and the first time there eggs fell to the floor😥. I put some nails and next year they made another nest and form 3 chicks 2 made it. Now they come every year and build their nest on the same spot. It’s safe from squirrels and the weather, but other birds sometimes fight with them for their chicks, like crows. Now this year we have a couple of cardinals making their nest and I think the eggs are there already. I leave sticks, hay, bird food near them. And also pull grubs and worms form the ground so they can feed their baby’s. It’s nice sometimes to help nature.
