3 жыл бұрынI tend to loop this piece a lot when I have things to write - there's something about the theme that's just so incredibly beautiful and calming
My last few uploads have been pretty challenging for me, so I thought I'd take a breather! This isn't exactly true to the original, I went more with the vibe based on some sheet music I found - there's a LOT of covers of this piece out there already, some very faithful to the original, so I hope you don't mind!

This is lovely. I have a question. Are you actively reading the sheet music from your tablet or using it as a reference guide? Maybe it's because I'm still a relative newbie, but I need to commit something fully to memory before I can play it smoothly.

I used to have to learn things by heart to play them, but with time I got better at reading from sheet music - I still need a few days to get familiar with a piece, but I do not know it by memory! So it's a little bit of reading and a bit of memory

@@Caliko Thanks. I'll be sure to keep that in mind while practicing. How long does it usually take to pick up a piece like this? It took me nearly 6 months to learn Eternity from Final Fantasy X-2, but I've only been playing barely a year now.

@@michaelvastarelli8019 Oh the piano collections of Eternity took me months to learn too! With pieces like this it's a few days, 4-5 if I'm only playing casually, but this one is on the easier side. It really depends, but a year of playing isn't all that much, so I'm sure you'll get much faster in time, don't worry about how long learning a piece takes you just yet! And good luck with your playing!

I love the variations you gave the song! They give a new colour to the piece. And as always, a beautiful performance! I'm was working on that song a while ago but never finished it. Maybe I should pick it pack up again.

What I love about your covers is that you put your ego of a great pianist aside and you let the music shine. Not many pianists are able to do that. I think that the greatest pianists have humility and respect for the music they play and I can definitely see that in you. Bravo!

Thank you! I already have too many things I want to record myself though,so I usually run out of time to do requests, but I listen to what people recommend in the comments! If it catches my interest I might play it

Very nice :) I remember hearing this when I watched The Theory Of Everything. It was so beautiful! It's a rather simple theme but it provokes emotions in a certain way. Nice key change, too :)

It feels really refreshing when you play these pieces. It’s very cool to hear you play challenging pieces, but once in a while, soothing pieces like these one are what we need to hear instead :) pretty sure you enjoyed every moment playing it aswell

I don't usually comment of KZfaq videos but this is so amazing that I couldn't resist. Now, I have a dream of being able to play this. There are some creations which absolutely no one can hate. Both the original song as well as this cover are such creations.

Awesome cover! What do you use to read your music? I use Adobe Acrobat, but sledding to the next page works 75% of the time and can get kinda frustrating haha

Músicas eruditas são boas de mais, mas particularmente essa é a que mais me encanta. Quando assisti pela primeira vez o filme a teoria de tudo essa música me fez aumentar minha preferência a música clássica.

I love your arrangement, it's the best I've found, but it's annoying I can't see the notes you're playing. Why not recording with synthesia or sharing your music sheet? Many people would be thankful for that (;

Once you tell me how to record a grand piano with synthesia I'll do that! Jokes aside, sheet music doesn't fall out of the sky, and I didn't play what's in the sheet I'm looking at. I improvised over it. Sheet music for this exact arrangement doesn't exist, and I don't have the kind of free time required to transcribe it ;)

Yeah the piano was so out of tune for that recording 😶 it used to go out of tune so fast that if I wanted to keep it tuned at all times I'd have to get a tuner to come like 5 times a year

@@Caliko oof, that's a lot - do you live in a wooden house in a forest-y place? When I got my piano, they pretty much immediately told me to get a system built in to keep the moisture level of the piano in place, as to prevent this exact problem. I now tune my piano once/ twice a year, although I do have to "water" my piano, which I find hilarious.

I could never be able to record me doing a song on the piano, I would need up every 5 seconds, out of embarrassment, and I would also delete it bc my face is to ugly in my opinion
