I think the 4S V2 was designed to be a great contender and a budget. 1 battery vs 2, and is lighter, so gets some pretty good contender action. I think it really comes down to, do you prefer a 3rd diff or Slipper. Most find Slipper easier to maintain in the end.

Love your kid like laughter. Just like me and my brother. We’re 62&67 years old. Both new to RC’s. I love Arrma brand much better than Traxxas. I have a Maxx v2 4S, Ereevo 2.0 6S (crap) an Arrma Outcast 4S and a Kraton 6S. I have several bodies for the outcast and the Kraton both. That’s a big thing with me..

Appreciate you cruising by and sharing! Glad you and your bro are loving it! I tend to lean towards Arrma’s as well. TRAXXAS styling is fantastic, along with other innovative engineering like body mounting and battery trays. However, electronics are subpar to me. Bash on my friend! 🏎🏎🏎🏎🏎👊🏽👊🏽👊🏽👊🏽

I’ve been looking heavily at the 4s Kraton. It’s easier to tote around being lighter. 1 battery. A chassis that will flex not bend. And 80 bucks gets you a second battery.

Grear comparison & review, also factor in on top of the $80 more for the 6s Kraton the 6s lipo with be a fair bit more expensive than the 4s lipo. Plus every extra set of 6s batteries with be even more expensive, both great trucks though.

I like the more solid chassis on 6S EXB...However the plastics on 4S keep it light, and very fast. Great performance per dollar experience on 4S. But I like diffs better than slippers any day of the week + steel drivetrain. To me the added cost is worth it on the 6S, especially the EXB Variant. IF you rich, and have the space, I'd go 8S EXB for $300 more...Keep in mind I don't do jumps, or crazy insane stuff...Me and my boys love our baseball fields, safe and open, and FUN.

I have a v3 Kraton 6s and a v1 4s they are both very fun and capable cars. But the 6s. Just puts a bigger smile on my face! Well worth the 80.00 price increases. Note parts are more expensive though! Diffs especially and I seem to blow through more as well! Prob because I run the 4s mostly on 3s it’s plenty fast on that with a 17 pinion lol

Honestly guys grab the 6s kraton it’s not that much more expensive and it’s a lot easier to work on once you open it up and the parts are widely available in stock in most shops and Amazon and cheaper too… at least here in Canada they are. And if you want more speed simply just throw in a larger pinion gear since you got that sliding motor mount. I’d get the 4s kraton or outcast if you already own the 6s version and just wanna see what’s up with the 4s version

I think it's worth mentioning the pitch on the spur and pinion gears is different. The 4s being a 32p or mod.8 might be similar in overall size compared to the 6s being a mod1.

Id like to see the 4s with 4s lipo and 6s with a solid 6s lipo or even two 3s lipos ...i have a vorteks running single 3s gens ace v3 120c and believe me when i say it rips i really want the 6s kraton purely so that i can throw my 2x 3s 120c gens ace in there running tandem and see what its made of ....the bashing 120c has immense response...2 of those together omg!

I just put a 150 amp. Spektrum ESC in the 4s kraton that I have it works literally perfect with the 2400 kV. I mean, it barely gets warm. It don't even get hot and that's full throttle Pulls on 4S. At 52 mph

Run time is really is dependent upon the MAH of the battery you use. Both can get very similar runtimes. 12-15 minutes with 5000-6000 MAH batteries. Appreciate you cruising by! 🏎🏎🏎🤝🏎

Firstly 6s is 50 percent more voltage than 4s. And you voltage is dropping after each run hence the first runs are the fastest.

From my experience both are very durable, I have bashed the 6s kraton and have only broken the wing mount part. Have not bent the chassis. I have only bashed the 4s kraton once and it held up. So not sure I can definitively answer that. Just being honest sir. Appreciate you cruising by and sharing! 🏎🏎🏎🏎🤝🤝🤝
