Haha! Thanks! It doesn’t necessarily look like it, but those wing mounts took a hell of a beating in this video. They got twisted, folded, and downright slammed and no splits or cracks! 🤣👍👍

I sorta decided I’m not going to get an 8s Kraton (for now atleast) only because of the expense to upgrade, but I’d say most likely the same parts I did for my 6s. I may be going for an XRT soon.

Really enjoyed both videos especially the first one because of the wrenching, trying to learn as much as I can and I have a question. Do I need to remove the rear assembly of the kraton to install the rear hinge pin blocks?

Glad you like the videos! I can’t remember off the top of my head, but I don’t think you do. Remove what’s behind it to gain access to the screws holding it in.

1:12 my bumper is cracked on both sides in that exact location. seems to be doing alright, it just gives the bumper a little more flex and i dont see that as bad.

Another AWESOME REVIEW!!! I spoke with you a few days ago regarding the life altering decision between an Arrma Granite, Arrma Big Rock, Team Associated RIVAL MT10 or Rlaarlo Omni Terminator. From your advice I was leaning towards the Granit or MT10. However, an opportunity has come up and I would like your opinion. I found a local person selling a like new 6s Kraton EXB for $450. Even though that's seems like a great price it's a bit more than I was hoping to spend LOL (I fly RC planes so I already have a few of the 6s 50c batteries available that would help absorb a bit of the initial cost). Would the 6s Kraton be more than a newbie RC truck person should try??? I just don't want to bite off more than I can chew for my first truck LOL.

Thanks!! My opinion is if you can spend that much, go the 4s route. Still has a center differential, and is easier and cheaper to repair! Plus same price for a brand new truck. Only thing is you need a 4s batt (or two 2s batts). Have you seen my 4s outcast review?

I just got one but only use 4s right now how do I stop it from doing a backflip on launch lol mine was used has some mods and the tx300 radio I think it's v2

Well besides just being easier on the trigger, it’s possible the original owners put thick fluid in the center diff. If you hold the front wheels still and try to roll the rear ones, is there a lot of resistance or do they roll easily? If there’s a lot of resistance, I’d put thinner fluid in there. I kinda like 500k

Ya it’s awesome! Unfortunately I didn’t time it. But I’d say I got around 20 minutes. Pretty much full throttle the whole time lol

Hello , I'm kinda new to RC cars.I want to buy ARRMA Outcast 6s EXB RTR but i saw on arma website is discontinued 😮 some shops still got It tho.Is that fact changing anything for me as an customer ? Are the parts will be still available ? Or maybe best decision will be to wait for that new version of Kraton 6s EXB RTR.Thank you in advance for the reply 😊 and great videos 😊

I would wait for the new version. Parts will likely still be available either way, but the new one supposed to have aluminum differential housings and other upgrades. 👍👍

What size pin gear and what were your temps.

This was the stock pinion. Can’t remember teeth number, but not the high speed pinion it comes with as an option. This wasn’t all shot the same day, but I haven’t even checked temps on it. One of these days I’ll replace the battery in my temp gun so I can do check that again! Been running it hard like this for over a year and hvent burned up any electronics yet. Thought I did once, but was just a wire I pinched on accident under the esc mounting block.

I’m planning on getting on there’s a 4s upgraded one that’s same color as this one and almost as big and that 4s one almost same price as the 6s debating on which to get I don’t wanna do all that type mods to it if I get the 6s I see a lot of ppls talking bout that steering issue

The 4s is cheaper to maintain as well. Cheaper parts, and a bit easier to work on in my opinion. I don’t have the Kraton 4s but I have the outcast and Mojave 4s. You see my videos on those? They’re two of my all time favorites.

Cause even though the small cars have the same speed kraton hass more mass. As mass increases inertia increases so the kraton flies more

6:03 The people slowing down as sht is flying through air crashing into trees next to them while driving is hilarious. Gotta wonder what they were thinking. I'm also surprised TPU isn't used a lot more on RC cars. Of course it's useless for structural, but I can imagine a lot of areas it could help with durability.

Haha! They’re probably thinking, dang im gonna get a Kraton now! Yes there’s a lot of aftermarket TPU, but so weird OEMs haven’t tapped that yet.
