Arsenal beat Everton 2-1 at the Emirates in the Premier League thanks to a controversial last-minute winner from Kai Havertz. The Gunners secured the runners IP spot in the league after Manchester City beat West Ham United 3-1 at the Etihad Stadium to clinch the title.
Idrissa Gana Gueye again scored for the Toffees to give them the lead at the Emirates but Tomiyashu and Havertz turned the game around to secure the points for Mikel Arteta's men.

Stop the lights. Check out the amount of shots blocks etc and how much they had the ball. Everton battled but were always 2nd best they deserved the win

That's exactly the reason why we don't sack managers just because we go 14 games without a win, that run was solely on the prem cus we should never of played football matches with 10 points deducted or any points for that matter and Sean has turned it round and fair play, and as for that refereeing decision, said it for years what a fix, scandalous. And I wish people would stop presuming that we r selling both branthwaite and onana stop making it easy for our club to sell them both let's make it difficult for them not to sell both and keep saying we r only selling onana 😡

Gutted is the correct feeling! Our guys did well, dug in and did us proud. We deserved a point today, bias was always on Michael Oliver's agenda, sadly we could do without this man and his favouratism or not! Everton never let the premier league down today, the premier league, yet again, let Everton down with the bias!!

His arm was in a natural position, apparently. So, when you run, and the arms swing backwards and forwards, that's natural. Clamped to your side, as you turn your body to deflect the ball away from Tarks, not natural. How many goals have we seen disallowed this season with a ball brushing down an arm or bouncing into an arm?? Premier League corruption.

Half way through the season I was screaming for a new manager, fast forward 5x wins and I'm screaming for him to stay. Just wanted to say thank you to you all at Toffee TV. Only found the channel this season and it’s been cathartic to watch along and share the, what at times has been a dreadful, soul destroying, journey together. Looking forward to the new season and to say an emotional goodbye to Goodison, but with the hope of bigger and better times ahead for the club and us supporters. UTFT !

We are durable; we need to perform in the last third! The last third is a disgrace and has been all this season. Dom needs to stay onside. We need a clinical and effective last third. Young has to be a backup, as once again, he is a defensive liability! Jack Harrison should not be pursued! We have too many left footers and need to be more balanced. If this is repeated next season, then it is a disgrace!

Totally agree, your last point in your last broadcast of 3 talking points about the fans is 1000% correct and now there all fired up with the crap we’ve put up with over the last 3 seasons we can drive the club forward with massive momentum next season with new owners? On the last point, Baz, I would tend to agree. This was a nightmare season. The superstitious side of me wants to blame Hümmel for that though. They were defo tempting fate with a kit paying homage to a shirt we would have gone down in had we not bribed that beautiful man, Hans Segars :)

Well said, Baz. I only found you lads this season (no clue why I didn't before, silly me 🙄) and I am really glad I did. You have been my daily "go to" for all things Everton and I really appreciate all of the time and effort you lads have put into your channel for us. I haven't agreed with every single thing you and Ped have had to say but that's what its all about I suppose. You were spot on about this being the worst season for us as fans. Even the seasons when we had those last home games of Wimbledon, Coventry, Palace and Bournemouth don't seem to compare for some reason, and those games were CRUCIAL. I have not seen a post game interview by Dyche yet but I am hoping he rips the Prem and their referees apart. He has said it over and over again that he doesn't know why referees go to the screen because you always know that when they go the decision will get overturned. NOT today of course. First time ever? And yes, the Prem seemingly have done us a favour by dragging their feet about 777. At least they got something right even if it was inadvertently.

Dyche is the furthest manager since Mlyse and Carlo to put proper characters, personality, and the basics back into our club. Dyche has set the standards and the players have responded. Dyche has had to be the face of the club and the only one to answer or try to answer all the questions about tbe corrupt Premier League and the ownership. Without his leadership we would be down last season after Lampards debacle and he's done it again this season building jt on our rocks Pickford, TARKY AND Branthwaite. As a fan thank you Sean Dyche for saving pur club last season and doing it again this season against the Premier League who clearly want us gone.

Oliver - an absolute disgrace! Handball has been a contentious/controversial issue all season but not in this case - handball all day long !! VAR actually got it right for a change only for Oliver to stick to his original decision - he has his own agenda regarding our club!! He should never ref one of our games again! 💙

Great job he has done to scrape us over the line from what he picked up from Lampard last season. Then to get us to 48 points with everything going on and making us so organised and defensively sound. If only Moshiri was as competent as Dyche. Hoping we hold onto Branthwate and if we have to sell its the likes of Patterson, Keane, Holgate, Onana and Maupay. Really want Barkley to come home but even the likes of Villa want him so no chance.

I never understood the "14 game mantra" he was getting draws and we played Spurs twice, Man City twice, Man U. Brighton, Newcastle Chelsea, and other mid range clubs. And we were very unlucky in a few of those games, we played Spurs off the field and lost 2-1, a late hand ball broke a tie with Man City. Two stupid Pens vs. Man U. where we out shout them like 24-11. I go by the Process, results will come of the game is being played correctly. If they had fired him we still would not have went down, I knew Luton would never get 30 points. That's why yo can't panic.

Well you can be pretty certain that if Michael Oliver who's been sent to look at this, there will be good reason to rule it out. .....and there is the good reason, Gabriel Jesus leaning into the ball. Good performance today with what we had available. But for Premier League narratives would've been a draw. Need to inject pace into this team asap sell Onana & hope we dont have to sell Branthwaite too. Good defensive base to work from, next season will be another struggle but we have to remain a PL club until we get into Bramley Moore regardless of who the owners are just glad its not them ponzi sharks

What Everton need is a manager who understands the way the modern game is played, and build a team that can aspire to that not picking up players because they are cheap or free, particular types of players like Moyes was doing maybe Dyche is that manager or maybe a Spanish manager, three of the top four clubs have Spanish managers, Liverpool, Real Madrid and now Bayer Leverkusen, all play a similar way, COPY IT.

We can barely pay the electric bill mate! We will have to sell our best players this summer and replace them with free transfers and pure gambles (most won’t be prem class) in the 5-10 mill range.

Unless there are MAJOR changes in the summer we are in for another long miserable season next term again. I know I am in the minority but I am sick to the back teeth of Calvert-Lewin, surely the most overrated "striker" (supposedly) in the Prem. I'd love to see the back of him and bring in the likes of Mateta who's scored 23 this season for Palace.
