IT FINALLY ARRIVED! When the new Arsenal 2023/24 home shirt was released the AUTHENTIC version wasn't available so it had to be preordered from Arsenal Direct a couple of weeks later. In the meantime, Arsenal played in their new shirt at home to Wolves and with the weather being as incredible as it was on the last day of the 2022/23 season, I took my girls down to The Emirates to sample some of the party atmosphere (despite us not winning the league). The new home shirt was everywhere and it looked incredible. I was even lucky enough to meet and get a photo with a special someone that gave the Arsenal fans a certain new anthem just before home matches...
Then, not long before I received my authentic shirt I saw a lot of reports of poor printing of namesets, on both the Premier League and Cup fonts, and then reports of the INVINCIBLE'S record on the white piping being WRONG surfaced. Chaos ensued as Adidas and Arsenal removed their authentic shirts from their websites and emails were being sent apologising and offering refunds.
I have no idea how mine slipped through the net but it did and I got it - BUT - Did mine come with a dodgily printed nameset? Did I have the correct amount of W/D/L results printed on my authentic shirt (honouring the Invincibles)? WATCH IT AND FIND OUT - ENJOY!
