Arsenal always concede weird goals. The first goal, and that thing Gabriel did could easily have been a penalty. I would be fuming if Bayern did that and goes unpunished. When the final few games all comes down to focus, I hate when Arsenal isn't being punished for such silly mistakes. The incident with Gabriel is a simple mistake that doesn't give Arsenal an advantage. Giving a penalty there, although officially the correct decision, would be arguably the harshest decision in UCL history. Referees are supposed to give penalties for fouls & DELIBERATE handballs (or ones that prevent the ball going into the net). The Gabriel one is not deliberate because he thinks the goal kick hasn't been taken. That's why the ref made the correct decision. The Saka incident, however, & the Kane incident were horrendous errors. Kane looks behind him, sees Gabriel, & intentionally elbows him, narrowly missing his face & having it deflect off the Brazilian's chin into his neck. That is a red card. & with the Saka incident, what is Saka meant to do? Momentum is a thing - he can't just immediately stop. You also have to look at Neuer. He starts to plant his foot, realises he's been deceived & lunges for the ball, missing. Had he not lunged, that would be no penalty. But the lunge makes it a clear penalty - He's tried to play the ball & caught the man instead.
