City's squad over the years has changed every season bit by bit. Every season they play a slightly different style: pacey wingers, ball retention wingers, Aguero, false 9, Haaland, FBs bombing forward, FBs coming inside, 4 CBs etc. The one thing that _always_ remains is that City's best XI _every single season_ has both KDB and Bernardo in it. They are equally excellent and also complement each other perfectly. They are the two gems of Pep's City Era. Since Rodri joined City, Rodri is the only City player who played more games than Bernardo. But Bernardo was already instrumental before Rodri came, too, of course. There is no City Bext XI that doesn't include _both_ KDB and Bernardo and there shouldn't be any Combined XI with City and any other team that doesn't include both either. They are both absolutely ridiculous.

Not sure what's worse, calling for White over Walker or Zinchenko over Ake. People don't give Ake the credit he deserve, last season he was the best LB in the league, and it wasn't even remotely close. And this is coming from a Chelsea fan.

When city lose possession, its not like stones stays in the defensive mid position, he drops back to centre back and does the job. He had different roles for attack and defence. Without him, City wouldnt have won the treble.

If you are facing a team with a world class Left Winger there isn't many all time RB's that you pick over kyle walker and at this moment i can't think of any tbh. He locked down mbappe for france and vini for madrid and no other player could do that currently.

Honestly, almost every position except GK, 6, and CF is about even. White Vs Walker is a lot tighter than folk are giving credit for. Stones, Dias, Saliba Gabriel all seem about the similar level… Rice Odegard, Jorginiho, The Rapist, KDB, Bernardo, Kova, Foden… you could make a solid match up with any combination of them.

I am an Arsenal fan but I'm also objective enough to know that none of our players will probably start on a Manchester City team. Even the backups for City are as good as our starters. For example, they argued one position between Bernado, Foden, and Odegaard. City can play either Silva or Foden without comprosing quality. But Arsenal only have Odegaard and nothing else comparable.

This discussion got really warped cause the Man Cuty fan knows how to argue better. Turkish doesn't. If we were being realistic, Odegaard, Zinchenko and Saliba make it into this eleven. Its not about overall trophies and achievements, its about the quality and who plays the position better. I'd definitely put Kyle walker in though. City should have 6 players over arsenals 5. It was a fair reflection from last season.

When you consider that Ben White got in over Kyle Walker, Alvarez and Foden didn’t get in and city still got 8 of the 11 it is a testament to the quality of our squad against what essentially the second best team of last season. Just look at the blue here 22:13. Treble winners, you’ll never sing that gunners.

The only player that gets in from arsenal is saka and maybe odegaard(but over who?). Saliba at the left back spot if he wasn’t injured but that’s being kind because ake was insane but he doesn’t get in over stone, Dias and Walker in the back line.

So the logic is trophy is a team and price tag is the individual, the individual has less influence on their price tag than if the team wins a trophy or not 👀

Let`s be honest had everyone been honest, then this combined 11, would have ended up as the Man City starting 11.

Some of these are ridiculous, because the pro-Arsenal arguments all revolve around “good season FC” despite the fact they crumbled when it mattered, the whole Ødegaard thing about captaincy and leadership was bullshit because he was nowhere to be seen when they dropped like, 9 points in March. Ben White over Walker is nonsense because not only did Walker play 20+ games in the league, but he turned up to pocket Vini in a UCL semi, that alone eclipses White’s whole season. To me the FB pairing had to be Aké-Walker, but I could tolerate Zinchenko on the left because they don’t go on that run early in the season without his attacking input, though he was also the main culprit when things went south. Objectively, the XI should be Man City + Saka and MAYBE Martinelli.
