Sergio has aarginally better strike rate, but yes, take into account style, & Henry played at arsenal for a few years at the start of their wane whereas Sergio came in as man city betrayed to dominate, his first year was their worst (not in terms of place finished but where they were)

People forget that Shearer had 2 big injuries in his career where he missed practically the whole season, so to still get that amount of goals is insane. The question isn't who is the better footballer its better striker and anyone that thinks Rooney was a better striker than Shearer must not have watched him play. surely , Rooney defending , passing and ability to score goals while being played in different positions , rather than the striker position as he was signed for .. is what makes him have a better all round ability and when he did become the main guy he has 30+ goals a season countless number of times . with Henry it'd be questionable if he could have handled such position shift without affecting his tally . hence a well rounded striker adaptable to any change that keeps a goal scoring tally consistent .. definitely would rank higher than you normal pacey talented striker merchant... jus saying

There’s 2 big differences/miscommunications when a question like this one is asked. Either people answer “The best striker to play in the Prem” and say Rooney/Aguero. Some people say CR7 (even tho he was a winger) because he’s been the best PLAYER to play in the prem, although his years there was not his true prime years, like Madrid.

They need to make these questions more specific and stick to that. It doesn't matter how many Champions League goals they scored, what other positions they played etc. What is the main job of a stiker... Scoring goals. It's that simple. To determine who "The Greatest Premier League Stiker Of All-Time" is you have to be talking about who was the best at putting the ball in the back of the net.

If you are truely basing off as the title says "best Premier League STRIKER" then it's Aguero, then probably Kane and Cole after that. Best all round footballer, best technician, best attacker, whatever other descriptor, then its Henry or Rooney. But as an out and out striker, Aguero is clear, and it's not even remotely close.

If you were to speak to all the best centre backs itw and ask them which striker would you fear playing against they would all say Henry . A striker isn’t just striking the ball its being a complete forward and Henry was that’s. A complete forwards possesses technical qualities of a Deep Lying Forward, the goal scoring ability of a Poacher and the strength and power of a Target Man. He is equally adept at playing in others, fashioning chances for himself and getting on the end of team moves. That’s HENRY

Aguero was the most lethal finisher in the Prem era. By far the best goals/min at 108 min per goal (Henry 2nd at 122). The stats don't lie. Still, Henry is probably a more complete striker, and had all those assists as well. 1. Henry 2. Aguero 3. Kane 4. Shearer 5. Suarez 6. (tie) Drogba and Cole 8. Van Nistelrooy... Rooney, Ronaldo and Salah don't belong on this list as none of them played regularly as a striker.

Ya it's a good stat to see how lethal you were But not the only one, I've just put Harry above him now, because, esp weh you look at last year, what he did, having to play for spurs l, going deep into mid, when you take style into account... Generator unkind to almost all entrants here. Salah beats Van Persie, Vardy and Haaland, (and possibly Kane?), but gets drawn Aguero so is out quickly. Suarez beats Bergkamp without question, as well as RVP and Vardy. Shearer beats everyone in his half except for Henry and Rooney. But Haaland over Fowler is the worst take in this video by an absolute mile.

All achievements outside of the Prem are irrelevant because they're basing it on the Premier League. Harry Kane was a better PREMIER LEAGUE player than Ronaldo.

@@NathanGlass95 the striker point I get, Ronaldo played mostly as a winger in the prem, but they have established earlier in the video that that really doesn’t matter. Ronaldo was best player in the entire league for that three year period winning almost every possible title. Then he came back 12 years later and out scored Kane in his first season back, in a worse side. Saying Kane is a better pl PLAYER is crazy. Nothing that Kane is better than him at.

This is utter nonsense, Henry was a silky footballer who did everything and often found himself playing for an Arsenal team that couldn't compete with the high spending Man UTD behemoth and later on, a Russian oligarch backed Chelsea. As much as Rooney is better overall than Kane, Henry is better than them all. Him not scoring in the only UCL final he appeared in, shouldn't be held against him. Henry also won the world cup and was key to winning it. Why do Rory and Buvey leave that achievement off the list? I tell you why, it's because none of their picks won it.

No idea how Suarez just gets passed up on for bergkamp, despite having considerably by some margin, the best performing season ever in the premier league 13/14. He was in a complete different league to both finalists Rooney and aguero and was only a couple of goals off scoring the same as both of there season totals combined. This was also without taking a single penalty and being banned for the first couple of months! He was so far ahead of every other player in the league, which on paper had some of the best players in recent years. Rooney Aguero Van Persie Hazard Dzeko Yaya Toure Hazard In terms of the best “player” to of ever played in the premier league it was 13/14 Suarez by a landslide.

Why is Salah on this list? Salah is a winger. same with Cr7, Ronaldo didn`t become a true striker until his Juventus days. Haaland also in one season, has achieved more then most of the all time PL striker greats on this list, sure he might not be high on all time scoring lists, but the issue with topics like this is that most people are nostalgia merchants and will never give players like Haaland the praise they truly deserves, but we all know that Rory has a hate booner on Haaland since he didn`t join his midtable club Chelsea, and after doing that he traumatized the man for an entire year.

As of right now the correct and only Answer is Rooney. Man could score and assist from any of the front 3/4 positions and proved it for over a decade in the prem. Haaland could over take him but probly will leave. Kane could have but he left and doesn’t have the assists like Rooney or trophies.
