I understand what you mean..it hurts that he is not leaving at high note . Especially winning the trophy would have made this a joyous occasion. On the other hand change at the club should have included from ownership and board ( i know impossible circumstance since one can't fire oneself but one can dream: Come on Usmanov do something:)

For a man who has always clearly kept his emotions and love for arsenal from getting in way of his day to day media dealings, he has been surprisingly candid recently about the recent struggles at arsenal and his very deep love for the club. He indeed devoted the best years of his life to The Arsenal. What a gent; what a man!

Hearing stories about Arsene from ex players it really exposes the caring gentle man management style he has, a shock to the system for most men who are used to being treated like a number. Petit recently told the story of Arsene booking him a flight home giving him time off to sort out personal issues, telling him to take all the time he needed as long he came back happy and focused. The old school MAN like Petit would appreciate that and repay him by leaving his blood on the pitch. However the modern day brat will take his kindness for weakness and ride it for as long as possible, giving very little back in return and that is what we’ve seen lately.

Fans uno... The fans who made him a multimillionaire and accepted continuous years off reduced ambition, bullshit excuses that we don't have money but can fork out insane amounts for the manager and board member salaries The fans who paid insane prices for tickets, who fund and travel always to support They have a right you clown The players let him down from the trust he gave Over and over We can't buy top quality and compete for top players but can make bullshit players millionaires who we then can't unload due to their salaries Skin ya face with a potato peeler fool

will biggs-lovell agree with your first two point but the players defended Wenger and some would discredit the Wenger out fans online... so rather then the players believing some fans and deciding to not perform for Wenger (which would be ludicrous), it was more that some players and the fans just don't get along and it must be hard for these players to want to perform for them.

True Gooner if you think about it, when you consider that Wenger wanted to leave last year, it makes sense that Arsenal were so shocking as Wenger doesn't have the drive anymore and was only at Arsenal this season as a 'favour'. lol

His biggest achievement was the Ade, Eduardo, Cesc, Diaby, Song, Rosicky, Clichy, Sagna, RVP, Gallas, Hleb era which played in my opinion the best passing game of all. Came within touching distance of the league but wasn’t meant to be so that group hardly gets a mention now when looking back. What’s even more impressive that team was formed through his toughest austerity period. Eduardo’s leg break still saddens me today and may have been the catalyst to the team falling short that season. Wenger is incredible, he built greatness on a shopping budget that would keep a single mum on the doll up all night. No gratitude, Arsenal consistently sabotaged his work by selling the stars he made and gave him 5% of the profit to identify the replacement. Ppl now say we’re spending, are we? Miki, straight swap. Aub was funded by Ox, Theo and Giroud! I’d say we’re still in profit 😂 absolute joke!

Supported me wenger all my life , will feel strange not to see him again as arsenal manager , he is a legend and one has to study the main reason as why he did not deliver main trophies in the last half of his tenure period. This is due to the board who will be exposed one day when mr wenger will release his biography and they will be tested with the next manager as mr wenger took a lot of crap and shielded the board. I wish him all the luck and thank you for some amazing memories x

I cant thank Wenger enough from the great double days to the invincible season to a champions league final which we should of won by far our team was better than Barcelona back then but never mind, then the new stadium and the real tough period came cause of the debt and limited resources but still got us in champions league every season i know some people wasn't happy with it and yes i did get frustrated myself at times but the goals for them years had changed it was about coming out debt free which we have and the cash flow we have now by running as a club and not dipping into oil baron resources is unbelievable. Just remember when them billionaires leave financially arsenal will be the strongest.

I feel bad for this guy. He has/had been always defending his players no matter what. He brought so many titles/ trophies to this unwilling to spend club. It is shame that Arsenal Board do not take the hit and he has to take. It is/was not his fault if the board did not spend the money and tied his hand. Look to what he did with a limited resource compared to a club where they spend millions and millions. I wish if he publish his book soon and reveal the behind the scene of these dirty people.owners, in the club, Spend the money and do not put the blame on him while your are greedy and tied his hands. Also, players were not great enough a lot of times. I do agree that I was pissed off on the last game between Atletico and Arsenal where he did not use his last sub, but maybe he thought that his squad was good enough, which I again thought bringing an another attacker, Nketiah, instead any other player whether was a defender, centre or even an attack player. but he may knew better.
